Gym is looking great!
thanks man!
Good tips. Can never have enough organization.
I’m always looking for ways to improve it!
That comic wrack looks sweet. Great idea, man.
It came out pretty nicely! I wasn’t a big fan of having to spray paint in the cold but it worked out!
I have a VERY tight space and constantly try to improve the efficiency. One thing that is often overlooked that you hit on is the efficiency. I moved all my cable attachments so they are next to my cable tower versus across from it.....10 feet closer makes me want to use that tower more because the attachments are right there, and less time to swap things out
I couldn't agree more! A little backstory on me: I did a semester of Interior Design in college for my elective and I remember that we were always graded in part by how efficient our designs were and how well they matched how people live and use spaces. Everything from putting a low table on the right side of your entryway so you can drop your keys there when you walk in and easily pick them up when you walk outside, to having towel hooks within easy reach of the shower so you can dry off without getting the floor wet. It's part of feng shui which sounds mystical but it's really based on the fact that our minds subconsciously respond negatively or positively to being in a room based on how easy it is to use it for it's intended purpose. It's the same thing in home gyms and it's one of the reasons why I always have plate trees on both sides of my power rack if I don't have weight storage on it, so I'm not wasting time going back and forth with plates. Even having the attachments where you can see all of them, probably makes it easier for you to decide which ones to use next. When I worked at a public gym, we set all of the machines up so whenever members finished their workouts, whether it was a cardio session or weights, they were facing the exit as much as possible, so we could handle the maximum amount of people during the lunchtime rush. Thanks for commenting!
'clear up the clutter!' - well said
Thank you!
The community is organizing an intervention. The hoarding needs attention 😆
You’re too late! I just dropped off a ton of stuff at the dumpster!
@ That’s a good start! Recycle homies would love scrap metal.
@619_ER they’re out of luck. My days of taking scrap metal at the salvage yard are over. I just throw stuff away now.
@ I hear that!
✌️
