Congratulations! That's a nice one. I have the mercury one with the 4k OLED also, but with 2070. My only complaint is I wish the audio was better. The Asus G14 I had before had amazing audio.
I flashed the 130 watt 3080 vbios from the 17 inch version on my OLED Blade Advanced. I can now hit 115 watts in games. I still want more power but I hear that flashing a different brand vbios could end up killing a displayport. Has anyone here tried flashing a 150-165 watt vbios on their 2021 Blade Advanced yet?
I have a question, you know how you said the top of the laptop gets very toasty? Well, if I got this, and hooked up an external monitor to it. Do you think that heat would affect the screen with the lid closed?
Hey so did you end up returning it? I wanted to say thank you for your channel. I recently purchased a razor 15 advanced with a 3060 to supplement my MacBook Pro for gaming. I though I was getting a good deal as I got it for around $2,400 w/ tax and shipping. Since it got stuck in transit I started doing more research and started hearing about Legion. I ended up finding an in stock Legion 7 straight from their site with a 3080 2TB storage and 16GB memory for $3,500. Now I know what your thinking but with a new account coupon, an additional 20% promo code and an ADDITIONAL military discount I got it for $2,600! It was your in-depth reviews on both the razer and the legion 7 and 5 that made me look deeper and find that value and pull the trigger. Needless to say I’m going to return the razer but I heard thier customer service was crap. I don’t want them to try and say that I can’t return it. Did you have any issues if you returned yours? Also fellow sailor here currently just passed 18 years “AC1 AW/SW” keep up the content I’ll be watching!
I returned it but I purchase mine directly through Microsoft’s website which has NO problems with returns, even if I opened and used it. Razer should give you a full refund, just resist the urge to open it. I know it’ll be killing you. Lol. That Legion is a great machine and with those discounts, and them not crippling the graphics card like Razer do, you got a hell of a deal. I’m at 28+ years brother (MCPO) so I’ll be retiring soon. Had to find something to keep me busy post retirement so here I am. Lol. Thanks for the support!
Overpriced and underpowered. It's slower cause it's using max q graphics. That wattage is really hurting that 3080.Its sad though. Some poor sap is gonna spend 4k thinking they're getting the best performance cause they have a 3080 when they are going to be getting worse or similar performance to a 3070 and some 3060 laptops. Consumers beware I guess. Some manufacturers won't even list it as max q.That 3080 is capped at 105 watts. Most 3060 and 3070 laptops go from 115-140 watts.

Bro I got the oled version too, let’s just say I’m never going back if I have the option

I got the 15 inch 3080 360hz version and Im disappointed. It performs worse than my 17 inch 3070 razer
New review🥳 news razers are coming out :D

Howdy?~Yo- nice video-work!see you later-DTech!
Max-q and 60hz? Pass lol
Yup he got lower scores in timespy because it's max q lol. They gimped the 3080 by giving it lower watts.
@@justswitched8841 plus it’s a 4k display. Too much pixels for the gpu. You can hardly tell the deference between QHD and 4K on a 15” screen
