These aren't just brown trout by the way, they are sea run brown trout. Dnr stocks sea runs in the main lake because they act like steelhead through the spawning cycle and living in lakes versus a river run brown trout, so they tend to get bigger. Im not downplaying your fish, im just saying it is not comparable to a river brown trout.
The Brown trout in the video are River brown trout lol so they fight just as hard the water temperature is probably just really cold. Wisconsin only stocks seaforellin brown trout as of now. these brown trout just haven’t ran into the river yet to spawn Great video Btw!!
@@GabesFishing I am talking about brown trout that live in the rivers their whole life though, these may be river trout but doesn't mean they live their life in rivers like true river browns. Possibility they are sea run because wisconsin and michigan stock sea runs? maybe. Either way I guess they aren't really a true river trout if they go in the lake to feed where it is easy to get big is what im saying, sea runs get espeically big and very fast too so they could be sea runs maybe.
Captain Randy is the best. Unreal guy who is incredibly knowledgable of all species. Truly a class act who knows how to find fish!
Great fishing trip and a few beautiful ones in the net too, thumbs up and greetings from NZ, Tony.
