    I love your ideas man. I think you have a great eye for detail and fresh innovative ideas. I too have the Gerber MP600 and I love that multi-tool, in fact, it's the first one I've ever owned. What you did with it is really cool.

    I live in a stupid apartment and I wish I had a shop. If you were here in Winnipeg I would pay you to mod my multi-tools. All the stuff you do with knives and multi-tools is really cool. you could make some good money modding peoples tools!! More power to you.

    The Gerber 600 is the best money can buy. Everything else is just gizmos. You sir connected the dots.

    • @DmytroLutsenko
      @DmytroLutsenko  6 років тому

      DobermansRock IMHO mp600 is best shop multitool. It don't care about dust and other stuff I deal with every time, with Surge I need to be much more careful, it not always a thing I capable of, especially when taking some old stuff apart.

    • @DobermansRock
      @DobermansRock 6 років тому

      We tested them in the Army against the full size leatherman, SOG and some other riff raff.
      One handed operation overall was the first winning point. Super leatherman demands 2 hands.
      Super leatherman and SOG butterfly. its not positive enough for a plyer.
      For the money, ability anything the 600 is best.

    That looks great! If you want to change the color of the clip to match the body but want something more durable than paint, you can try something like Gun Blue. I've had great luck with it.

      I've been reading about some folks that got conned into into buying some good quality knock-off's from China via Singapore. If put a call out for some of those, they were selling a few years ago for about $30 each. They were mainly DET models.

    • @DmytroLutsenko

      I`ve seen that knock-off`s a lot for sale in Ukraine. Its twice cheaper than new MP600. honestly, I don`t want to experiment on POS that have different steel quality and probably different construction than original tool

      на самом деле с клипсой эксперимент был не удачным, признаю. надо бы придумать что-то более практичное и элегантное. из-за положения "плоскогубцами вниз" и конструкции тула последние постоянно открываются, что дико выбешивает. быть может будет V2, но я не обещаю.

    I was looking to buy one. I have several Leathermans and like this Gerber. Unfortunately most now are China knock offs, not Made in USA as some us to have this stamped on the side. The quality of these knock offs is just what you would expect, crappy. If you do buy one on line, you dont know if is going to be a real Gerber. Sad, I wanted to get one of these.
