To me, the thing about actual "introversion/extroversion" isn't necessarily if you feel comfortable speaking in certain situations, but it's rather what kind of situations gives you energy. Like, think of it like this, you get back from a long-ass day of work, and you've got a handful of hours to completely relax and unwind. What's more relaxing? Being by yourself and doing things with yourself? Or hanging out with friends and socializing? It's more like "where do you plug yourself in to recharge," and this, also, isn't black or white, as some people might want to be social on some days, but alone on others. It's never "I'm an introvert" or "I'm an extrovert," but rather potentially "I'm more introverted than extroverted" or vice versa. These are at least the definitions I've been given in my little experience of psychology in college lol
I have a similar definition, where you get energy from being either alone (Introverted) or with others (Extroverted). I label myself as an introvert because while I love hanging out with people, after a while of it, I need a lot of time to myself by myself, and others I know are the opposite, where they need to socialize to "Recharge" but otherwise enjoy being by themselves.
Man, you couldn't have phrased it better. I'm a very social guy, I have no fear of public speaking, quite the contrary, but sometimes I just want to lay in bed all day eat cheetos and play minecraft, y'know?
There's now arguably 4 distinct types of introversion now - social, thinking, anxious and restrained (Cheek, 2020). It's also worth noting that most of this "scale" as it were often focuses on the average attitude of the individual, instead of trying to establish some inflexible rule. Also, as a side note, for those who's intro/extroversion are majorly determined by the circumstances, they would be counted as "ambiverts".
I'd also just mention (from personal experience) that it can be easy to mistakenly think of oneself as being very introverted if you're not around the right people. If social interactions exhaust you, it may be that you're introverted and that's okay, but it may also just be that you haven't found the right group. That's probably not even the fault of the people you are around, and unless there's more going on, you don't need to start cutting people out of your life. Just means you should try to expose yourself to more people and more situations that are new to you until you either find your place or feel satisfied that you really are just introverted.

I like this formula. And that of all people uncle Danes the one he’s having real conversations with. It lets us know the Tf2 Titans a little better. More of these.
"People are so occupied with making something good that they forget they're making something at all." People call me an amazing cook and usually immediately follow up on that with something along the lines of "...and I'm stupid enough to burn ice cubes, I'll never be as good as you with years of training" and so on. Literally every time someone goes down that path of conversation I'll pass them the pan and say "Well you're not getting any better by complaining about it and not trying sh*t" do people really think a master comes from the sky for everything "If I took the average of every burnt pot, melted bowl and bent spoon and every well made three course meal I created I would be considered an awful chef." "Don't worry about the result of your work, but think about the good things that could come out of it and the opportunities to learn and make even better things."

I like to think of introversion and extroversion as how you cool off or recharge. Maybe such theme is popular but i highly doubt, sounds like banter, you can get that for free from many other sources. Then, this "talk" format gonna get you less views than your regular videos, for sure, since it's different from common videos. So basically you aim like at about 2% of people (ppl *willing to pay* for such content) of 10%(ppl that are *interested to get more* of such content) in amount viewers that's about 50%(in good case) from your regular amount. So that's, like, 1 of every 1000 views. That's all approximately, and not counting those ppl that would like to sub to your patreon just to support you so they'd sub just after hearing that you have a patreon with content. So the only viable thing i'd name is to promote this video in places that are more common to have such talks, IF you're going to have more or said talks. Hey Array! These uploads have been great, really enjoyed the crossovers with Dane too. I wanted to ask if you were planning on continuing the Medic Survival Guide? It's probably my favourite TF2 series and it's great to have a resource for Medics like Dane did for Engineers. Love it!
You can still play other classes while having a main, or have multiple mains. Its just about what classes you enjoy. If you play and enjoy soldier more than others, you probably have soldier as your main, if you play every class equally thats good too c:
5:30 dont ever say a weapon is bad or overpowered again unless you make a new class-based shooter with different weapons based on situational advantages. Cant wait for your e3 presentation next year
As an introvert myself, I also find it super weird how having a TF2 channel brings (forces?) out extrovert tendencies. Also, killer SFM throughout this video!
The part of the couch MP is strange. It's one of those things that are making a comeback to the gaming world right now. Quite many Indie games already do couch multiplayer and it's just great. Many of them are also designed as party games like Duck game. You should totally go back and play couch mp.
i think something else about the "i want people to watch my videos for the videos and not me" is youtube as a platform is HEAVILY skewed these days towards fostering parasocial relationships with content creators because as a viewer, if i don't watch every video and hit that like button then it's entirely possible youtube will just... stop showing me the channel. sometimes i open a video and mute it in my browser if it's a video i'm not particularly interested in just to make sure that i'm not only supporting the channel but also that i'm still "engaged" enough for youtube to show me other videos
My favorite is when people say, "I'm an *ambivert*. It means I can be either one depending on the situation." Oh okay. So you're just...normal. Cool. It's like...people don't understand that it's a bell curve. Most people are in the middle somewhere. Only a few people are on the extreme ends.

I wanted to ask if you were planning on continuing the Medic Survival Guide? It's probably my favourite TF2 series and it's great to have a resource for Medics like Dane did for Engineers. Love it!
Yep, I've got more MSG on the way!
6:43 for sure im inspired by you guys, tf2 youtubers and streamer like lazy soundsmith dane and you
I feel watching a video for a person can also be good, as it means that people would be good for you talking about other topics as well
Please do more of this, and invite more youtubers. This was great!
These are so fun to watch! Please never stop making these!
Love to listen to my guys after all this time.
I really REALLY enjoyed this video. Thank you!
Yessssss, I love the effect music can have on entertainment. It's such an amazing tool for mood and feel
The videos where you and Dane just talk are so nice to watch
I'm glad that Array swaps between engie and pyro. Makes me feel better that I don't have a main lol
You can still play other classes while having a main, or have multiple mains. Its just about what classes you enjoy. If you play and enjoy soldier more than others, you probably have soldier as your main, if you play every class equally thats good too c:
those kinda talks are pretty likable and refreshing great concept + nice gamplay
5:30 dont ever say a weapon is bad or overpowered again unless you make a new class-based shooter with different weapons based on situational advantages. Cant wait for your e3 presentation next year
I've been waiting for the next episode of the Dane/Array Podcast. I enjoy these.
As an introvert myself, I also find it super weird how having a TF2 channel brings (forces?) out extrovert tendencies. Also, killer SFM throughout this video!
The videos with Dane and Array are so good to listen too while your sitting on the couch
2:10 actually tried it recently with my childhood gameconsole and a few buddies of mine, and it was great
The part of the couch MP is strange.
I would say I am an inverted extrovert
Dane when he cant find the type of engineer content he wants:
Fine, i'll do it myself
Good to see BIG JOEY and his pocket medic crashed the party hell yeah
Finally some upload from my 2 fav youtubers
good job with the video array, i love watching these videos with you and dane, keep up the good work
You guys are my absolute favorite TFtubers, great videos >:]
Music at 0:53 is SiIvaGunner - Outset Island - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (ua-cam.com/video/wbXKgLI3LCM/v-deo.html)
this is so fun to hear, it's like a podcast but it's fun to watch
4:56 ‘if you want something done right, do it yourself'
half of this video is just "LET US AVOID THE WORD AMBIVERT!!!"
Nice new buzzword dude
My favorite is when people say, "I'm an *ambivert*. It means I can be either one depending on the situation."
Oh okay. So you're just...normal. Cool.
It's like...people don't understand that it's a bell curve. Most people are in the middle somewhere. Only a few people are on the extreme ends.
At 10:43 Engi is holding his detonation pad as if it was wrangler. I think.
Ah, yes, my favorite show, "Medic & Engie".
array: "you ok buddy"
dane: *laughs* "no"
Thanks for taking that teleporter Dane, laughed my ass off.
These vids are like therapy.
dane's taste in movies is so good, i'm actually surprised
