I would also uber because 1. Enemy spawn is right next to you 2. There is no nearby teammates basicly you are in danger alone. There are also possibilities that you will survive but aint worth to risk for me
In the moment I’d probably just save the heavy without too much hesitation. Looking back at the footage in slow motion: 1. The heavy seems to be voluntarily moving back to push the cart, so there’s no problems as he probably isn’t out of ammo 2. The enemy spawn is nearby and your teammates are pushing the cart so popping an uber would allow your team to continue pushing and probably cap as your heavy would act as a wall, even if he has no ammo 3. There’s no one else on the frontline and no one is pushing ahead of the cart, meaning that there would be no support if you decide to retreat
You are way too good at this "Educational AND Entertaining" thing. (I'm also very lucky that you started this series just as I began considering maining Medic) - Great work as always, Ray.
This was a wonderful video, as with all of yours. I started tf2 right before the pandemic hit and because I watched so much tf2 on youtube before jumping in, I pretty much knew what I wanted to do. 300 hours in and medic is, without competition, my most played class and favourite to play. I attribute this in no small part to your excellent video formatting, execution and knowledge. What I learned from you was so useful and rewarding to put to use during play is unmeasurable, but it's truly one of the greatest and most entertaining experiences of my life. I remember you saying that you read most, if not all of your comments and I don't really care if you reply or not but I just wanted to know that you made a meaningful difference in my life and I truly thank you for that.
I am so grateful that a medic as good as you still can't hit their own heavy, either, with the crossbow. Thank you so much for making this and making so that our own mistakes aren't so awful, because we learn from them all.
I would save the heavy, he turns around, heavy uses his kill-bind, I get stuck on a wall, enemy demo sets up a sticky trap, I somehow Uber the (now) disguised spy, and die from the sticky trap, I’m a bad med

The thing about the 'heavy uber' question is that: you are beyond the payload, in "enemy territory." You can't see any allies and the ones you did know of all split off after that push. Then, going that far and not seeing a sentry on the point meant you could at least build a new uber in the time given. But the main thing is, just like "use it or lose it": You using the uber results in it not being a medic v spy fight; the fact that you saw it was a spy (he clearly tried to attack) and even had a moment's notice to see it, meant it was better to use it. You don't often get that chance because spies will just come up from the side and backstab your healing target from out of nowhere. Many medics have used uber on far less, with even less result. ((Just my opinion that won't be seen.))
I would have saved the heavy. On certain maps such as dustbowl, or on servers with really long respawn times, I find that it’s more imperative to use an Uber to save a life than to save it for another day.
