Loved the colors. Maybe pink on orange (always a nice combo) and purple on gold.

Hello Emma, I'm in Picardy... on this work, I see a path in the middle of a slightly funky Nabis landscape. Thanks for the trip,,,, 😊

Hi Emma, this looks like an areal landscape. I love the texture. Oh yes, I do also love your sheer wall hanging with what looks like flower petals. Thank you for sharing your artistic journey with us.

Hi Teresa, thanks for your comments, always appreicated! It's actually butterflies, in a circle to represent the earth. Made with dissolvable fabrics to be delicate. I love sharing. it's my pleasure, thank you for being here! 🧡

@@StitchandCreate Thank you Emma for the description of the beautiful wall hanging, I would have never guessed that the main fabric was dissolvable. I alawys admire it when it makes it's camera debut.

thank you! @@teresahucal836 actually the main body is just net and the butterflies were done with lace and dissolvable fabric as it helped make them stiffer. 🙂

Lovely colours. First thing that struck me was a golden path 🙂maybe vertical but I think it could work either way. Look forward to seeing the next step ♥

Hi SHirley, love the idea of a golden path...leading who knows where! Bit like this piece! (or life!) 😍

Hello Emma, I think maybe it would look good as a vertical piece, lovely texture, and, like you I’m not sure about the purple, I thought it would look good, but I don’t know. Maybe a rich brown with a shot of lime green,or a really dark red, it is very autumnal, looking forward to seeing how it goes next week ❤

thanks so much Mandy I love your colour combo ideas, they sounds delicious! I think it may be heading to be vertical, got a feeling! x

Fun, it works either way. Vertical might be fun as reflexions, with ripples of other colours?

it's hard to choose isn't it when there are lots of possibilities! I love your idea of rippling colours Helen x

Of course you could use stitching in darker colours, like your sample pieces to add contrast to it.

Wow, Emma, this was such a fun and delightful video! I have a similar attachment for my sewing machine, and now I'm itching to use it.
Have you used this technique on any article of clothing that would be placed in the washing machine? I'm curious how the "felting" holds up or if it would be necessary to hand wash the item. Thanks for a wonderful video!

Hi Sky so pleased you enjoyed it, and even better if it's inspired you! I've never washed anything I've embellished, it would need to be really well felted, I guess, and maybe the washing would felt it more! I usually machine stitch over. Time for you to experiment maybe! 😉

I love embellishing machines but frequently break needles which caused me to put the machine away. I am now retired and cannot afford to replace needles all the time. Could you please explain, in detail, how you move the fabric, the speed of the machine, etc so as to minimise the breakage of needles? I realise this will happen from time to time but would like to minimise the expense. Love your voice and speed of explanation by the way and your colour choices. Thank you for your videos. xx

Hello my fellow embellisher! I understand your concerns. I mainly would say listen to your machine, feel what fabrics your machine is happy with, go slower if necessary. Never use it if you're feeling stressed! Hope that helps, and thanks for your lovey feedback!
