I really hope they remaster this game at some point, maybe the portable team can focus on it after Sunbreak has seen its final update. I really want to play through it again but my fingers can't handle that control scheme of the DS anymore.

Really enjoyed this video! I'm usually not that into these kinds of challenges, like the no-sharpening runs and such, but this one did it for me. Doing only Key's and only once at that, seems to require a lot more creativity and workarounds to do efficiently. Plus i imagine these runs would be pretty different throughout the different MH Games. And in general, the video was just very well done. Finally i'd like to add that i'm a fan of your channel description. I like that attidute. Thanks for providing a small space in life to relax for a bit. Greatly appreciated
I miss the old armor bonus implication. Sure it’s a nice quality of life to have armor pieces already have a perk, but having points before reaching that perk was fun to work around. Especially when you could mix and match different armor pieces to make a whole armor for yourself. I also miss the monster related weaknesses. There’s no downside to any armor which makes it easier for newcomers don’t get me wrong, but it was fun having different armor sets getting both the strengths and weaknesses. It also made there armo sets feel more like it’s from the actual monster not just the perks. It made having multiple armor sets more impactful
ah i remember playing mh4u with minimal quest and no skill, but i get relic armor from that expedition key quest and its carry me throught low rank village event without armor

So while Gore are a dangerous yet "normal" kind of threat to the environment they live in (their frenzy virus not being strong and infectious enough to cause massive depopulations), a single Shagaru is capable of obliterating life around itself just by being there.
Remember this is your last chance to get mh4u and mh3u digitally on the 3ds and get that juicy dlc(more easily) and fight that g-rank crimson fatalis that was never brought back for generations. After that you better hope physical copies don't skyrocket on net prices or have to be forced to emulate.

yes, you can capture gore his not a elder dragon his a ? only elder dragons can't be captured maybe check your hunters notes to see what a elder and what's not.

9:25 Did you make a rule against crafting pick axes mid mission to mine more? Or did gen 4 remove the recipe for picks and im just dumb? (iirc in Gen 3 at least, Bone plus tiered ore makes tiered pick with Machalite making Mega Pick)
I don't think that's necessary since you can just buy those and crafting them won't make the challenge any easier imo. It's something I never thought of.

It is the best game for citra by a longshot imo. It never got to look this good on the 3DS and that is shame. I would buy a remaster in a heartbeat.
If your 3ds is homebrewed you can actually play with an external controller or move your save over to citra.
