BOHOL Island Tour, Philippines (Tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise) 🇵🇭

- I spend the day touring the natural island of Bohol, Philippines. I visit the Tarsier Sanctuary, the beautiful town of Loboc, getting invited into a local Filipino family's home, taking a river cruise, before finally taking public transportation to reach the Chocolate Hills.

Beautiful island and warm welcoming people, my kind of place...
Jason! Love your work. Thank you for inspiring small youtubers like me to keep working hard and spreading awareness!
you prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
Just looks unreal! So stunning, thanks for showing us around Jason 👌
Jason. A couple years ago I visited Bohol for the first time. I agree with your comments about disturbing the Tarsiers, but I think tourism may be what saves them from extinction. I think the park I visited was the one you didn’t visit. The employees seemed to be very protective of the Tarsiers. The Chocolate Hills is an amazing phenomena, but less than spectacular to me. I enjoy your vlogs, and will continue watching.
Nice to hear I’m not the only one with that perspective. Glad to hear the other one wasn’t as bad as it sounded, at least when you visited it anyway. Cheers Paul!
theyre more impressive with aerial view, hope they developed like a cable car for more tourists to really enjoy the hundreds of hills from the top
Mad props to the man who invited you to his home! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to the Philippines. Please visit again. There are loads more to see :)
You're right about the tarsier sanctuary.
Very nice. I have been to Bohol, the river buffet, and Nickles Resort. I loved the area. Your video brought back many cherished memories.
Left tagbi 14 days ago, good to see my favorite ATM again (dancing guy) hehe I miss the Philippines alot, the lovely ppl as u see in the video, nice sites to see, great weather and riding my Yamaha Mio Aerox 155 all day lol. tnx man!

The hills look more chocolatey after the rain., 😋

I hope you enjoyed the Philippines, Jason! Take care and enjoy travel💖🇵🇭🇵🇭
Very much, such a beautiful country.
Wonderful country indeed 😊
I have never forgotten the name of " tarsier spectre " since my childhood without ever having seen a tarsier if not in picture
if a direct contact can have such disastrous consequences for these fragile little animals ... so much to look at them in pictures then
tourist activity on the island of Bohol nevertheless seems calm and well managed
your videos look like you: calm and well managed
we can only wish you a good continuation and pleasant discoveries
Greetings from Algeria
(I soon finished the videos of your Bengali trip without the Bengal tiger - pity ! - ... after a year ... for the rest I'm pretty much up to date ... actually I follow a lot of vloggers at the same time)
Here here! Seeing a Bengali Tiger is a very rare sight these days, but it does happen. I was pleased enough that I managed to find tiger footprints. Happy to hear you’ve seen a lot of the videos - congratulations for catching up!
My filipina wide and I did the Bohol trip in September 2019 slightly different to yourself. We actually prefer to be in the Philippines for August and September when it is less hot and sweaty, but of course sometimes (especially in August) with some rain. Please take a look at some of my recent videos which seem to have grown my channel significantly. And please leave some comments.
Thank you for your concerns about our tarsiers...God bless you always Jason
Hope you are enjoying your stay in the Philippines!
I like your video, great work! Just subscribed 😊 thanks for all the explanations!

I dont comment that much on videos, but I really appreciate your vlogs. A calm and authentic presentation. I agree with your opinions, as a Filipino myself. Anyways, enjoy your travels and Godbless you.

Cool, glad to hear it Elsie :)
You can do a daytrip around bohol by chartering a van (PUV) at Tagbilaran port for as little as P3,500. Split it among with a bunch of friends and its worth it. Great vlog!
Consider going to Siargao! It was named as the Best Island in Asia! You won’t regret it. So many things to do and sights to see that’s unlike any other in the Philippines!
Tarsiers spectacular 😁🙉🙉🙊
Great day of exploring. Next time you can rent a scooter to cut down costs and have an even better experience.
Too nice. Wow.
Great :)
You are my idol. Cool videos and info. This is one of the best.
Hi Jason😊 same here.. more fascinated of going 2 d villages surrounding choco hills but someone said it's not allowed.
# @ Cebu come 2 Dalaguete( my hometown) & Bandung when u're in Indonesia.😄
You should have taken ceres buses there're a lot going to different places in bohol
I love all your vlogs! Philippines is really nice no doubts. Well, it's my country hahahaha I should be proud of it.
From Cebu visit Leyte via Palompon or Ormoc City and explore Eastern Visayas.
Hey Jason! I've been following your Channel since I saw your vlog on Istanbul and Cappadocia, and your travel tips on those 2 places really helped my trip! I am enjoying your vlog on Bohol! Did you not get the chance to go to Panglao or Hinagdanan Cave?. From experience being in Bohol, I always advise friends who are visiting the island to book a tour or hire a driver as it is more convenient to get to the different landmarks and spots as they are scattered around. On the other hand, I hope you've enjoyed the adventure! :) I can't wait to see your vlog of Cebu! I am from Cebu, and I try and visit home every year when I can! so would like to hear your thoughts on the island! 🙂
I love your skin..so white and flawless💋
Watching this in UAE!!💙💙👊👊👍👍
👍👍👍👍😍😍 very nice.
Very nice one
Enjoy
I did ;)
Hi Jason new subscriber here nice vlog..enjoy and take care.godbless 😉❤
Pls. Visit the Hinagdanan Cave in Dauis Bohol
Wow .....i am from Tagbilaran city Bohol but I never been this place.
I like your ideals and I also think that in many countries where the tourist dollar counts a lot, conservation is a more like an opinion rather than a true effort to protect such a fragile species.
wow i like your videoblog
Beautiful tarsiers .They look scared of humans .I never seen or heard about them before .
Yes Im from Bohol and what you recommend is absolutely great.i would love that!banned all cameras and phone
jason, please go back here, there is more to.visit, please visit southern philippines, which is mindanao region, home of many muslim brothers
Some of your videos I can watch all the way through, but not some which are especially shaky, like this one. Hope you consider a gimbal soon (longer view times for those with motion sickness problem like me)... ;)
Thanks for the feedback, it’s appreciated. Yes, as I love my POV shots and keeping it raw, a gimbal is my next purchase, as it matches my style. Not too long before I pick one up.
@@JasonBillamTravel Cool, looking forward to it... :D
That tarsiers ,inever experience to see such animals .shukria mona
I love this your videos
Happy to hear it, Abu!

Most foreigners also rents a scooter or a motorbike to roam around but there is no problem with the tricycle
Boholanos are known to accommodating and hospitable.
Noise cancellation headphones are a must. 😂
Hey Jason great videos bro! Do you have a pedometer or the iPhone health app? If you do can you maybe put up and show how strenuous a day maybe that involves a lot of walking etc. Thank and keep it up
That’s a good idea! I tend to walk a lot during my videos (as you can imagine), so it would be interesting to do a quick check at the end of some of my longer videos to see what my step count is!
@@JasonBillamTravel I was dying to know how many steps and calories burnt during the Batad rice terraces day. Also people would know a rough idea of how fit to be. Again great videos dude! Osman
Nice meal. Following you to see the vegetarian food finds... ;D
Hey Jason.......i'm thinking of taking the same trip and head back to Cebu from Bohol. If you haven't already gone on the boat, can u please find out the times they leave Bohol to go to Cebu and the cost.......I would appreciate it! Thanks and stay safe!
