Hi Hason, I'm your new subscriber! Thank for promoting the Phils., although its not as beautiful of the country you visited, but at least you can roam around with peace & secured. God Bless you & your family. Take care!
DAVAO Is the largest City in Mindanao followed by Zambonga and Cagayan De Oro Mindanao Cities might be quite lagging Behind in developments than LUZON and VISAYAS Cities yet, they are on its way to start developing. numerous condomium are rising in DAVAO and CDO.
Eating Durian in the street/outside will not offend anyone especially in Davao, they are used to people eating that there..But it was a good idea not eating Durian with Hot Chocolate coz I dont think it’s a good combination might give you a tummy ache and a lot of trips to the loo😅 Locals in Davao eat it with Coke/Pepsi on the side, well that’s what my friends told me when I went there😬
I'm here after watching all your Saudi videos in one sitting! Thinking of going to Saudi as a non Muslim tourist in the next couple of months! Have to say though Davao looked very run down and shabby! Will watch your other videos from the Phillipines with interest. Keep up your great work Jason!
Hey Jason, Welcome to Davao city! I came across your channel from your Tanzania vlog ( my mother land) and now your in Davao where I live 😮 I enjoy watching your videos ❤
So brave of you to try the local chocolate drink and durian :) Both are known to cause a spike in blood pressure. :D That's why we avoid having both foods at the same time :D We usually make the local cocoa into a chocolate porridge called champurrado :) Soooo good!
tablea drink is... sa tinood lang kay good para sa high blood. becoz Cocoa is rich in FLAVONOLS... Durian on the other hand will raise heart rate and will give body heat.
Congratulations to you for this remarkable video about Davao City, The Philippines taking a great walks across the city @ the Market in November of 2022❤❤❤
Davao is the fifth ranking safest city in the world. And I believed in that as the crime rate is very low so far. Thanks to Tatay Digong (Former President of the Philippines) who mold the city into a very progressive with the cooperation of the constituents.
@@aewty8179 Perhaps you are not from the Philippines that is why you know little or nothing about mindanao. How about doing your research first if you are really interested on some info. You can simply take a look on the google, the information is available on all your doubts.
That ranking is a bogus. There was no such ranking. It's never verified. That fake claim spread in 2015 during election to favor Duterte since he was the mayor the city at that time.
@@hurbrowns5397 I am not here to convince you as it is not worth. If you understand well my comment am speaking of myself which I believed in. Ponder your reading comprehension. So are you happy now and contented.
It been about 5 years since I was last in Davao City. My wife was born in raised in Santa Cruiz which is in Davao Del Sur. We are going to try going back this year.
I have never tried durian before, the smell is quite strong. Maybe time to give it a go! I think food from the Phillipines is often one of the unrated Asian cuisines. It’s an amazing mixture of influences. Davao looks like it has a big small town vibe. Looks like the climate is quite tropical? Thanks for the video great to have you back on here
many foods smells, but tastes good (depending on your taste bud). I grew up around the Davao area, so I am very accustomed to durian.. and for me, like all foods that has scent, it just makes me want to eat them, sometimes you can tell from the smell being tasty or not (the durian) that is. There's only a handful of variety that these days, I'm willing to eat (as they are the best varieties). also don't eat it inside hotels! The scent will last a whole week, renders the room unrentable. A lot of hotels bans this fruit in their establishment.
Thank you for the video, I'm glad to see you back!! Enjoy Mindanao! See if you can try palapa while you're there. it's a spicy condiment that might as well be called 'Filipino kimchi'. it's a speciality of Muslim Filipinos and has become quite famous here. It's fully vegan, and it's delicious if you love a bit of spice. If you're into cultural stuff too too, you might be able to catch some kulintang music there, it's the centuries old traditional lively gong-chime ensemble music of the Southern Philippines, that predates the Spanish colonial period by many centuries. it's one of the signature cultural icons of Mindanao and one for the prides of the Philippines. Never been to Samal there so looking forward to what you make of it! 😊
Thank you sir for visiting Davao City esp Roxas Night Market , it was me who accidentally poured the water in your shirt because of rain 😁 I hope it was your most unforgettable experience in Davao aside from enjoying our beautiful city. Keep safe always and God bless you. See you again.....

You should visit Obrero Davao sometime soon. We quite consider it as coffee shop capital of Davao 😂 many cute coffee shops around that place in downtown 😊☕️

That's our Palengke! It should be messy! But look how clean it is 😇 But for us living in the city that might be considered "our messy" as the whole city is so clean 🤣
