I love Cambodia - i'll be back there in a months time . We were also warned multiple times to be very careful with bags etc in Phnom Pehn and to avoid the outskirt areas at night . i have never had any problems myself and i felt there was an overwhelming sense that the people warning us were just really caring and dont want tourists to have any issues.
I'm a Cambodian subscriber who stumbled upon your channel since your China's videos. I used to anticipate the time when you would visit our country. Now that you finished your visit here, I'm very happy that you left with a great experience. I'm also a little sad that I could not meet you when you were in Phnom Penh. I hope you could visit Cambodia again pretty soon.
I am Cambodian. As a traveler, you have be aware of your surroundings in any countries. Cambodia overall is very safe; however, precaution is not going to hurt. Bag snatching is happening in Phnom Penh but very rare. These bag snatchers know if they get caught, they could get beaten to near death by the general public.
I’m Cambodian citizen. About the experience to travel in Cambodia, you should know about the budget for one place that you want to go. In addition, the price always different between national and international person for all of you who book the hotel or ticket, but the other things are similar price for all. Actually, I wanna say welcome to kingdom of wonder👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
I visited Angkor Wat in July 1997 and I was the only person at the main complex, with a cow grazing in the front courtyard. Siam Reap was a different place then, only 3 small hotels and the large colonial hotel at the roundabout. Different times ...
Thank you for sharing your exciting experience and Thank you so much for visiting the country. We always warmly welcome you to come back. Glad you had a good holiday trip. 😊😊😊😊 I’ll def follow you on IG. 😄
Kingdom of wonder. Beautiful country , people very good & are always helpful to tourists.Good fun to be had go & see the islands & chill out in paradise you will enjoy
Great video! I'm travelling to Cambodia in a month and we have booked to stay in Phnom Penh for a week. From what I've researched there seems to be a lot of stuff to look at, not much to do. Any recommendations while I'm there?
Hey Jason! Love your videos! I have a question about the tourist attractions (like the temples and museums), did you notice any student discounts? Or is that not a thing there? Cause I know from travelling in Europe, most of the time there is a student discount or sometimes we even can go in for free :)
Bag snatching is still happening a lot here in Cambodia, so it’s advised that people are careful with their belongings. I never leave my stuff anywhere away from me.
Thank you brother for helping us with so many information ..... Well how good or bad is the Cambodia Police Service? And how do Cambodian people treat them, good or bad? Plz help me..iam from india, delhi city
I came from Cambodia 38 years ago. I have gone back many times. According to my relatives, the culture does not change much. Meaning the actual Khmer(Cambodian) real not pay attention to the stuffs that don't belong to them. However, they have to protect their procession. They have to warning the travelers to protect themselves. They don't want bad thing happen. They want travelers to come back again.
Good roundup. We're looking forward to seeing your future vlogs. We see the next Anthony Bourdain in you, but you need to drink more alcohol for a sharper comparison. Cheers.
I like this idea Jason. Why don't you backtrack & make this type of video for other countries you've already covered? Or maybe do it when you're planning second visit 😎 Lets start with India next 😃
CAMBODIA...all you need to know... COSTS...CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. ... SAFETY...SAFE, SAFE, SAFE and I’ve been there 30 times in 18 years. . (Bag snatching is a myth) You don’t need an APP for tuk tuks...they are everywhere. And the friendliest people you will meet anywhere.
being locked in a room isnt normal by any stretch of the imagination. If there was a fire or some other life threatening scenario what would happen? 🤦🏾♂️
Note that I said up to $3, meaning $1 and $2 meals are possible, depending on where you choose to eat. If $3 is the maximum, that’s not too bad as a traveller.

I don't think the bag snatching is a common problem. It may have used to be a problem but the public became aware of that and it has been controlled.
Thank you for talking about Cambodia
You never talked about hotel prices?

You're getting ripped off for food. You can get cheaper food than that even in Singapore
