I just received one. You should be ashamed for endorsing this. The dog bones don’t reach so they slide out and jam. What a piece of shit. It looks great but as soon as you touch anything garbage garbage garbage. The gears grind and lock. No oil in the diffs. Just garbage fuck you for making this review because I bought this depending on good reviews. Now I can’t take anything from this channel

I bought this car for my son a couple of weeks ago. It arrived broken. The front right upper suspension arm was already broken. After ten days of communicating with BG after sales they refunded me 102 euros so I only paid 138 euros for this car. Anyway the money saved has already gone to buying spare parts. The suspension brakes easily. If you find metal parts for this car, make sure to buy it. Their existence means that the plastic equivalents are not up to standard. So it's best to replace them asap OR it's better to buy the pirates 3 with the metal parts already included.
In my speed run with the pirates 2 I achieved topspeed = 42 km/h. The version of the pirates 2 that I have and that's being sold on BG does NOT work with 4s lipo anymore (apparently the older versions from 2 years ago did). Send me a message if you want to know more of my first hand experience with this car.

I was looking at these a few months ago, I see they did start selling them as roller kits, n now back to rtr versions, looks to be a solid rig though nice n beefy! 👍😎 seems like it’s lil under powered, maybe a 6s system would be nicer in it, or at least 4s
I have dhk jlb own this version buggy plastic and price $ 155 if you want to kill it quickly Use the 4s I have compared with dhk and jlb dog bone size small

@@philthyco1 what one? He's talking about the dhk maximus or zombie and jlb all have aluminum chassis are are definitely much better than this. This truck ain't near the truck the dhk maximus is. Edit oh he was talking about the buggy. Lol yeah your right. I thought he meant the max.
Don't waste your money Stevo. Plastics snap easily ! And not many parts available in the US beside 1 website I get hopup parts from , shocks are great lol. Best thing on this truck

And I kinda like the challenge to modify cheap ish cars :)

Have your views gone back up? Very surprised to see that this truck is under $250 from your link, probably should have mentioned that. That's a great deal for a 1/8 4x4.
Unfortunately its quality is less than JLB and DHK is its power approach to the car size1/10
@@hafezmuhtaseb6711 Yeah that definitely seems to be the case. Seems underpowered. 1/10 scale electronics in a 1/8 truck. That motor seemed to be screaming and yet not really moving super fast. I've heard horror stories about the diffs in these zd racing trucks. They don't hold up.

I think that's because of the battery issue. I'm going to buy the 1: 20 amp myself I was just comparing the two
that charger is bad. it did not work for me. i bought it and it charged 2 batteries then died

if you throw in a hobbywing 150amp esc and a 2000kv 4076 brushless motor and run it on 6s it makes dhk maximus and zombie look slow and you will still have a lot of change left for extra batteries . I have jlb cheetahs , bison , dhk maximus and zombie and 2 of these pirates 2 . I can tell you none of the others are better value for money like these .the new 120a rtr version of these has a 4274 2200kv motor and comes with 4s battery its awesome for the price.

Can this model 9116 run on 6s lipo battery ? Ive read after alot of use on 4s the motor go's up in smoke ? What's your experience of this? If i wanted to run Lipo 6s what would i have 2 change to make it faster ?? Thanks

@@ronniegreaves9711 version 3 if one can say it so, it have a few changes most notable is more alloy parts and that you have to buy your own battery's, seems it can go 6s standard.

Thanks buddy! Arrma is currently changing distributors. Hobbico was purchased by Horizon Hobby and it's taking time to restock the shelves. Arrma is an up and coming company made popular by people like ourselves. It was a similar story when DJI drones really took off around 2016, they couldn't keep up with demand from popularity. Now they're fine, Arrma will be the same with Horizon Hobby. We've just got to wait haha!

ZD Racing is trash. Everything they make comes with at least one major flaw or another and anyone who shills for their products is doing it for nothing more than just Affiliate money.
No way to get all the parts.... just a shitty rc car cheap good car the esc take 1 min to shut down after 3 races.... and after a broken steering cups no way to find it.
