Can’t get enough looking over other 69 Fastbacks while waiting (patiently, barely) for mine to get finished. Almost ready for final paint. Just about got all the parts just s few odds and ends still trickling in.
I was thinking in 69 the 69 mach 1 came with 3 engines 351,390,and 428 cobra jet. Then in 71 ford came out with the 429 super cobra jet mach1was the big block 429- 460 not a FE big. block.
@@michaelgray5660 The 428 Cobra Jet officially never got called Super Cobra Jet from Ford but everybody uses this term to identify Drag pack equipped cars with either 3.91 or 4.33 rear gears and oil cooler. The 429 Cobra Jet with Drag Pack had more differences like solid lifter cam. CJ and SCJ terms are just slang to easily identify them
I had a 69 1/2 Mach1 SCJ with the GT package and fully loaded , even air. . There were no 5 speeds , but it would make sense . I had to shift from 1st to 3rd to manage the bottom . More gears would've broken up the bottom . 😎
Nice car but I don’t think you can reasonably compare the value of this car to a factory correct car sold at BJ. Specifically this car clearly has non original two stage paint plus all the mods which will cool may actually detract from the value by collectors
