Why Ford gave up their 351 (5.7) in the Crown Vics is beyond me. They moved to a weak 4.6L with less than 200hp 😑 But the old Crown Vics and Grand Marquis are incredible. I love ALL old cars. Ive been on a GM binge lately though.
@@Twitch_Moderator I think that the later ones are ok. Speaking from experience having a 2011 it’s at no lack of power at just over 200k miles and still is all smooth after not even being babied very much. The 4.6 itself seems dead reliable and has good power for the later model years like I’d said. However, it just doesn’t seem to fit the hype like you may think. What a brilliant example of the old whale body Caprices. Still remember when these first came out in ’91. Wasn’t quite sure what to make of the design back then, but it sure felt roomier on the inside than the ’77-’90 it replaced. The driver’s side airbag was quite the thing, as was ABS. When the fender skirts were done away with in ’93, that made quite a difference in appearance. Then in ’94 the interior was designed, as were the rear tail lights IIRC, and of course, the infamous LT1 was now an option. In ‘95, the door mirrors were made foldable and window sail mounted. They also redesigned the glass on the C pillar and the car started looking “nicer” IMO. Memories of the RWD B-Bodies have always been that distinctive exhaust note at idle for the 5.0L/5.7L models, the “ticking” column shifter whenever you switched between gears and this enormous seats that literally hugged you. Cloth interior >>>>>> leather ! I don’t know why car maker’s putting leather seats it’s really not comfortable and not practical at all
I only buy vehicles with cloth interior. If it's a rare vehicle and it has leather I will find the cloth counterpart regardless the price and swap out the leather for the cloth. I HATE leather.
Cloth is comfy and less heat or cold absorber, but leather is easier to clean.
Compare cleaning juices or foods from cloth seat vs leather once. Also, cloth is easily absorb smells and harder to remove of.
Although , currently I’m using leather seats, I miss cloth seats on 80’s America cars.
I much prefer leather. Easier to keep clean and easier to get in and out of the car because you can slide on the seat.
mrxyz2k when the summer comes in, no miss of the leather at all ! When it gets 50C leather is seats are trash you will hate your life even if it’s has cooling seat ! And even with toyota heavy use will eventually break down! I had crown vic cloth seats ooh much comfier that my home sofa
Cloth interior is so much better.. much more comfortable
What a beauty, please keep these cars like this, sick of suvs
This seems like a great deal!
The second most beautiful car, USA ever built... The first was the 1990's Lincoln Town Car.
You don't hear that said very often about the 90s Caprice. The styling was controversial. I like them.
@@moonbeamskies3346 the design is simple and elegant...
Oh well. Too many others want this beauty. I'll have to look around
Love these! Great color.
Wow! Awesome find!
Nice, I have the exact same ride, just red!
These are getting hard to find in this condition, especially with the 5.7
Wow that’s a nice car there . Why would the family let that go Bill love that car still looks new the family should of keep that car. My mom brought a 2001 Mercury marquis new back in 2001 she passed away in 2010 I still got the car I will not let that go for nothing..
It has the LT1. I had a couple of these. A 1996 Roadmaster Wagon Limited 30th anniversary edition. And a 1996 Caprice LT. Now I have a 1992 Buick Roadmaster sedan Limited. Love them. My current RM only has the L05 350 however :-( Much weaker than the LT1
Great condition!! Regards from Germany 🇩🇪
Too bad I sold my dad's 94 Caprice Classic. He passed away in 2004 and the car only had 17k miles on it.
How ever put thumbs down ,, u r trippin... Nice Dawm car!!! Keep doin ur thing Ant!! How much?
Asking $4,995
Great looking car
Nice I had one Silver w/dark cherry leather
In this Caprice shape the models 1991 1992 1993
Were the best
This is prob one of the last of the big American floaty cruisers.
And I'll bet it was a lot cheaper, better and has more luxury and extras than my Rover 600 back in 1995!!
Beautiful car! I love the deep red paint it has. I have heard these cars be referred to as a "whale tail" Caprice.
Now in 2022 this car would cost a fortune these cars have gone up something crazy last year or so its insane but man thats a sweet car
Keep it going! Beautiful car
Another beautiful automobile. Nice survivor.
beautiful car Anthony, love it!
Thank you!
Beautiful car, excelent and wonderful.
Niccccce car I’m currently looking for a car like this
Looks to be a very basic no frills model with just the standard features being factory installed aka no options at all. Not a fan of all the chrome trim on the bottom and the tops of the doors, but still a very nice car with a lot of life left in her.
I agree.. nobody wants chrome these days.
Wish it was a 5.7 Anthony, but I think the price would be higher!
What is the price
Beautiful
Lovely old barge... I like the estate version..
