This reminds me of what I've been craving 4 almost 2 weeks now....West Africa stew! I might do it this way or even add some spinach 2 it & eat w/ fufu. OMG! Yummy 😋
I cooked this tonight!!! YUM! Served it with rice (I used a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes and a little less water). Love it, my niece loves it, and my son loves it.
Fantastic!!!! Sounds so incredibly YUM! I enjoy this with rice too, one of my favourites dishes. Great job 👏 so lovely to hear your family enjoyed the dish too 👌😊
Aww that’s soooo wonderful to hear, you’re most welcome 👌😊 … I love feedback on our recipes, thank you for sharing your experience and for watching/supporting our community/channel!! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much for your support and compliments 👏👏👏 I very much appreciate feedback, I’m glad you found the recipe explanation useful. Best wishes! 😊
You’re so right.. 🫠 Thank you for your very constructive feedback. I did not think about step by step instructions for beginners, I will do just that in the future. If it’s still helpful at all, I used the sauté option on high for about 10 minutes to brown the oxtail before adding the rest of the ingredients and proceeding to the pressure cooking stage. Many thanks for watching.. and taking the time to comment. 👏😊
@@Liz461-g8x Your mother’s recipe sounds delicious👌Oxtail with loads of fat retains loads of flavour. Great food fosters happy memories for sure!!! Thank you for watching 👏😊
Sounds great 😊 this recipe will definitely work in a slow cooker too. Just adjust the cooking time which could take 4-8 hours depending on your slow cooker settings. Good luck and enjoy!
Hi there .. Pressure cooker time very much depends on the type of pressure cooker being used. Here I’m using an ‘Instant Pot’ pressure cooker which is one of the faster cookers for this method/recipe. So I gave the time according to the Manufacturer instructions. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊
No instructions on the pressure level of the cooker...some things are cooked a high or a low simmer; and also important whether to let pressure drop on it's own, or run water on the lid to depressurize immediately.
Thank you for your comment. The reason I can’t be too specific on pressure cooker levels etc. is because pressure cookers all over the world are very different some are electric whilst some are stovetop with varied pressure/power levels etc. This recipe is a general guide to be used alongside each specific pressure cooker using manufactures guidelines. I couldn’t possibly be too specific otherwise I might end up giving the wrong instructions.. as I’m sure you can appreciate how dangerous pressure cookers can be if we do not follow specific manufacturer guidelines and instructions.

It would have been nice to see how you set your instant pot and what you set it on to cook whilst open for those beginners.😜

@ I liked the way you cooked it but as a new user of an instant pot I had no clue what u set it on but that oxtail looked amazing. 😁💖
@ Thank you… thank you indeed. Your feedback is very much welcome and appreciated 👏💖🥰
My mother used powdered cloves instead of curry. Very happy memories. She used oxtail that had a lot of fat. Super delicious.
