I thank you sir for bring all this content somewhere others can hear about it. It has brought back so many awesome memories i have from when i use to dirt jump and race in the NBL here in Florida. I use to race a supercross back in the 90's until i got picked up by mud sweat and gears bike shop and they put me on the new Diamondback ProXL. Which i still have to this day still set up and ready for the races. Man this is so great....
I love hearing about your stories. I had a subscription to BMX action in 1981 and 1982. I even had your pics plastered on my wall. Its great to see you again!
Great unboxing man. Bitch'n to see you on here and still the King!!! This makes me miss my Bright lime green and white Performer !!! It got stolen I then got a black one and then got a matching Black GT scooter!!! Those times great ! Best time of my life! I finally can say thank you for making my youth amazing!!!
I remember em’ but never had one. Looks awesome, can’t wait to see it built. You are a legend and your vids are so fun to watch. I have the best memories with my dad in the early 80’s racing BMX. He took me to Orange “Y”(local track), Irvine, Coal Canyon, Azusa, and all kinds of nationals. I still ride(51) everyday in Santa Cruz. New sub by the way. Keep up the hard work we really appreciate it!)
Ive got the 87 reproduction sport with exact specs as the og one and it really is a privilag to ride what they rode out of the box like it was 1987. My first bike was a procraft ultima .
That's a sick frame and fork to bad the forks don't have brake mounts , I remember that cover u should build the torker like the on u had back in the day but modern , I like that t shirt have u ever thought about make your morales fiola jerseys or t shirts I think they would do good thanks Eddie
The majority of Torker frame & fork set didn't come with front brake mounts simply because they were designed for racing. Bob Haro had to modify his own Torker bike for BMX Freestyle before he eventually have his own Haro Freestyle frame creation based on the Torker 280 race frame. Crazy to think how heavy the 1980's BMX bikes were back then.
What the weight of the frame and the fork? Supercross had the lightest chromoly frame...3.5 lbs. Insane.. like the Hollywood hutch. 3.5 lbs. I lb 10 oz fork
