Beautiful job on the restoration. As a previous commenter stated. Awesome choice of color. It's great how you breathe new life into these forgotten relics. You are Saving a piece of history, in your own way. Take care
the way you didnt round off any nut using the open end is truly amazing. great video. this really brings me back to my bmx days. now my son gets to get his hands dirty. God bless 🙏👊
Imagine having the time & money to do this to every unwanted wrecked bike, wouldn’t need to keep buying new at all. It would become the new Vinted for Bikes 👍🏻🔥⭐️
I suspect his goal was to restore as much of the original as was possible. The bearings (once he refinished them) looked fine. I may have missed it, but I did not notice any major pitting or missing bearings. I was surprised the bearing cages didn't explode, though.

This video takes me back to the 80s when I would cannibalize a few old 10 speeds and throw on a slick (krylon spray can) paint job. I had to make a new bike to take me to my first job... And my girlfriend's house. I loved that bike. I sold it for a down payment on my first motorcycle. I wish I had it today. Oh well, memories.
On the pedal drive chain...you didn't need to grind it to separate the links. There's a master link with a retainer clip to join and to separate the chain link...as a kid in the '60s, I took chains apart all the time..with a straight blade screwdriver....easy peasy!
Incredible! You turned a rusty piece of metal into a completely new tool - it's honestly unbelievable 😮! I love how meticulous you are with each step - from cleaning to polishing and welding the parts back together. Every step seems to give this tool a whole new life! Can't wait to see more projects from you. Anyone who finds this video helpful should definitely try it out! 👍🔥
The place where this guy keeps all his creations must be one of the most spectacular places in the world!! Imagine seeing all those weapons displayed together...
Awww man, really great job, except for those bearings. If you're willing to replace the chain because it's too worn out, why not the bearings too? Plus, polishing those bearing races would have made for a super smooth movement as well. Still, great job resurrecting that poor little bike. Hopefully it'll have a better life the second time around! :)
Coincidental that the UA-cam algorithm pushed this video to me, because I have been considering digging my old GT Pro Performer out of my parents’ garage. It’s not nearly as bad as this video’s bike, but I would want to restore it back to its circa 1985 condition. My sister left it out in the rain after I left for college, and I did a quick restoration in 1996 to stop the deterioration. I want to strip the cheap paint I applied over the chrome and either properly repaint it or have it rechromed. I even discovered that I can still find Skyway Tuff II mags to replace the damaged ones. I’ve even seen the proper GT stickers for my frame and forks on auction sites.
Nice work, but have a few questions, how did you actually manage to get the seat bar out, because that would have needed heat to expand the metal to get out? Why not new bearings? The old ones should have been thrown away, because of internal damage would have occurred, on some of the bike you should have used more geese, why not? Other than that, you done a great job on the bike and I love the outcome
If I didn’t know that Mr. Rescue just got through restoring a bike that should have been thrown in the nearest garbage truck, I would have sworn that he had gotten it from a showroom. Great work!
Anyone who has worked on a bicycle and taken one apart.. Knows you just losen the screw on the handle bar neck then just pull it from the fork.. The way you did it you left a piece inside the fork..

Well done you are very good
it's a good resto but calling a recent 2010ish BTwin (cheap junky european brand) BSO 'a piece of history' is stretching things a little
10:32 He has donned a beautiful new color, reviving the vitality of a forgotten memory.
Fantastic restoration! Thanks for the great video!!!!
Awesome restoration 😎👍👍
This was very satisfying to watch from beginning to the end 🙌🏾
Good job…good luck !!!

Great job, I congratulate you

A brilliant resto, though I wouldn't want to spend all the extra money on new parts. I find bikes with minimal work needed.
If you get a million hits, you get enough money to fund more than a few restorations. It could be very self-sustaining, I imagine.
He had all of what you said but if it wasn't about his content he would've bought a new bike
Hi, congratulations on taking on the project with so much passion and so much intelligence.
Beautiful job as always
Belle restauration du bmx . C est chouette ! 😊
What an amazing transformation 🎉 Bravo 👏
Your art, skills and work are wonderful. You are as elegant and neat as your work.
Lovely work but slightly surprised you didn’t put new bearings in….

Good job , this color is WOW 👍
Fine job,i restored one BMX in -90 century in here Finland, and now that bike is almost 40 years old!
I recommend the name, Ball Smasher, for that rig. If only because of the jaunty seat angle will make it exactly that. Still, fantastic resto!
What his name 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Complete transformation 😊
Nice job done 👍
Amazing job! Wow
Muito bom ! 🇧🇷
Thanks for the effort to upload new videos, no need to re-record videos, it's okay, short videos are important, all new
You need to give to some kid for a present. ❤❤❤✌✌✌

Lovely job on the frame, forks handlebars etc. Totally confused as to why you spent time restoring ruined bearings.
The work was done to a high professional level. You are great!
Brings memories to great bikes 🚲
Such a great work 👏👏
Looks great.

Yooooooo😮
Nicely done. Smooth work. Enjoyed watching.
Nice job 😎
I like the fact you didn’t fill any dinks in the frame… just sprayed over the battle scars (history) 👍
Nicely done, love the blue 👍
Your work is truly admirable, keep it up. Congratulations directly from Minas Gerias - Brazil!
I have learned a lot and I am very happy with the work you are doing

Muito maneiro!!! Parabéns
I try to fix my stuff because watching content like this
You do beautiful work, and I appreciate the fact that you mute all the loud parts.
Wow you're seriously old school I like it.
Why didn't you really not want to pedal the bike sir 😂
Gogogogo
Wow it looks great
Bravoooo Goooood🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Impresionante trabajo.
Very nice, thanks
Nice!! Do another old Honda :)
The gold bit spoils it - I think it would look better blue 😊

Brian. 👍👍👍👌👌👌
great job
Good memory.😊
ODLIČNOOOO!!!
You got pegs, and shocks. lucky. Ever take it off some sweet jumps?
I was thinking can’t wait to this in the sand blaster, oh wait, yeah of course.
Anyone who has worked on a bicycle and taken one apart.. Knows you just losen the screw on the handle bar neck then just pull it from the fork.. The way you did it you left a piece inside the fork..
Tip for getting grips on easily. Use hairspray on inside of grip and handlebar. Push on easily, then the hairspray dries and grips them in place.
On voit le travail bien fait
Me encanta como dejan las cosas
Was great until you used your vice to press in all your fitting and marred up the surface of all the bushings.
Find a diamond back from the 80s restore it make it all chrome and white tires with bear pedals and white grips
Just out of curiosity, why don't you use a sandblaster for all of it? Size?
Unbelievable Restoration. Perfect. A few more gold accents would have been nice (Cantilevers)
Top demais
Radical!
Great job!!
Well done
A bell! The previous owner was either a gangster or a 5 year old.
Good job
Good repair
You sure there wasn't a removable link in the chain?
Wow❤
