    I am completely new to this.Just asking one doubt to you.Is it allowed by banks to close the loan amount before the agreed time of loan duration?.Like if I have a loan duration of 20 years and I am closing it in 5 years,it's a huge lose of interest for the bank right? I thought the loan span cannot be altered.Hoping your clarification on this matter.Thanks in advance.

    Never take home loans. It is a big trap. Keep away from it. You will loose all your happiness in life if you are unable to repay...

      Two type of debts are there good debts and bad debts. Before taking the loan you must have a repayment strategy.

      I had a home loan it was a nightmare , the 2000 rs u told we can't deposit in the repayment . ACC to the worst HDFC Home loan we can put the amount only twice in a yr , if u put more than 2 times there's a penalty , so many hidden agenda in home loans don't know about SBI . But HDFC home loans even if they give all processing fees , other charges free never opt . The 1 st option will never work with at least HDFC

      You can close the loan in 8 years. So that you have save the last 2 years EMI's.

    Am following your 1 and 2 options for the last 3 years. And thanks for sharing the same to others. It will help anyway.
    Only issue for the time being is the crisis impact of covid 19 where we facing.. Some companies are deducting salary for staffs. So these are getting affected in this 1 and 2 option😭😭

    Thanking for imparting valuable knowledge. In pre closer of loans how future interest could be waved. Interest is paid for advancing loan for future date. When loan is cleared before loan tenure future interest must be waved. Please clear this issue also.

      You can contact the bank manager and request for the closure and they will provide the details to proceed with the loan closure procedure.

    Even Rs 500 added to EMI makes wonders....!!
    If people are not comfortable with Mutual funds, then RDs are also good. Assured 6%.

    EMI is fixed in the beginning, any excess amount paid is considered as Advance and will not reduce the Principal amount until the Advance and the loan balance equalise

      No bro. I am doing the same for the last 3 years. And extra payments will be reflected in your principal amount.. And they will not cut off your EMI from account, else they will adjust in your outstanding principal amount only,till reaching that added extra payment.

    We have to cosider benefits of Income tax exemptions so 3rd option is least attractive. Moreover SIP have its inherrent risks because of the market conditions. Another doubt is that in the case of 1 and 2 nd option is that most of the bank is having a system of charging equal interest whether you pay advance amt in your monthly emi, ie, they won't take into consideration of the amt u pay extra. This is to be addressed seperately if u decide to opt for it
