I honestly didn't even realize there were so many distinctly marked or named Venators. A lot of them remind me of WWII British ship names and I think it fits the sort of world war naval themes of clone wars capital ship battles well. Keep up the good work ^^
I didn’t either until I had the idea to look into it for the video! I’m going to do one on the ISD eventually, and there are about 4 times as many of those!
16:34 you could tell that when giving the status report, that Clone Trooper was conflicted as he paused in the middle before continuing with say that all of the facilities had collapsed into the sea.
Thanks! Just wait till you see the one about Imperial Star Destroyers; there are like 4 times as many of those! I won’t be making that for a while though.
Great story and research. Sadly so less did we know of so many others and this venators. There is a mistake with the Renown. D-Squad was not only droids they had a Colonel hat was tiny.
I only know the Resolute, Defender, Redeemer the three from anakins task force to Ryloth. Then the Triumphant was Luminary Unduli idk her name spell it's late but her cruiser, then Kenobis ship I forget dang there's too many
Dont forget anakin's second flagship used during the battle of ringo vinda. It was also a newer model of the venator as well :) As far as i know idk if it had a name or not
Not sure if anyone said it yet, but I’m pretty sure the ship Anakin rammed into the Lucrehulk actually wasn’t the defender. The defender was the Venator was the destroyer that was destroyed when the fleet retreated after the CIS reinforcements arrived.
I don't think so. The defender was heavily damaged and after retreat they evacuated the venator(only my own opinion but I'm also pretty sure that it happend that way). Solution for us both: rewatch the clone wars

@@RadioFreeCoruscantEckhartsladder has you beat on that front to a point, as he has a top ten list of ISDs MAINLY from Legends.
So it's "Oh, you like Venators? Name every Venator." meme
And now you can!
You didn't mention that the Endurance was also Mace Windu's flagship in the Open Circle Fleet.

Great high quality video!
Thanks!
Talk about dedication!

Do the Resolute. Anakin’s flagship. Full Video.

Love ship names and lore

I am quite curious that the hotwheels venator model is for which ship
I thought only two ships were carashed, but there were more than that
My head cannon is that “Spirit of the Republic” was renamed to “Imperial Spirit”
That would be a good alternative!

what movie or series is the first clip from?
Like, the very first one at 0:00 ? Revenge of the Sith.
This is cool tho I didn’t even realize you were a small channel content wise.
Thanks! I try to make high-quality videos, so that means a lot!
You should do Every known Providence Dreadnought in Star Wars
I know the Invisible Hand thats it😢

interested in, and appreciate the subject of the content, but it's like listening to a different language. I've restarted this so many times...
You forget the Venator crashed in Jedi: Fallen Order
Does that one have a name?
@@RadioFreeCoruscant unfortunately not, in all searches he is listed as unnamed, but this wrecked on the planet of zeffo
Your mic picks up your mouth smacks and noises a bit too much... kind of gross. Maybe look into that.
