- Well, this is probably my fourth attempt at leaving Amazon - twice travel, vlogging, moving to Dubai and now this
Truth is, I just wanted to pick up some Amazon roots to boost up my bank account and my UA-cam viewership
It is got to the point after thinking about my future that is time to say goodbye for now
I’m grateful that this job has help me build an online audience and I have many memories from this job
I know a lot of you will be disappointed to hear this news I’m not frustrated, thinking I’m wasting out on an opportunity to further grow my channel
Trust me my UA-cam is a priority to me and I actually want to follow this on to make a video I wanna make last year I put it to the back of my mind to focus on Dubai and this year I want to put it to the front of my mind, but I don’t want to the same old day in a life videos
Thanks for watching forget to subscribe

Good luck in your next job Zac. Amazon delivery is unfortunately not a sustainable job for most due to continuous unrealistic workloads.
Good luck on your next journey in life Zac, i look forward to the next video.
All the best Zac in whatever you do 😊
Can't wait to watch this one. Its bitter sweet cause I love your Amazon videos but im sure its for the best.
Yes Zac, I watched your video on tik tok and youtube to see the possible reality of what being a real estate broker in Dubai could be like because I don't believe it's everyone that goes out there that'll smash it. I honestly rate you for working the role and doing the videos to showcase what's sort of happening in the background of things. I wish you nothing but the best in life my g. I'll soon be heading out to Dubai to hit the nail on the head working in the same role as you've done. I'll let you know how I do.
Hey Zac, thanks for sharing. I'm interested in where you go next. Hopefully, we'll see you soon
Cheers
I just quit my job as an amazon driver today after taking time off due to ill health because of stress. I used to DREAD going to work and the unrealistic expectations they laid on us just got worse over time to the point of overwhelm
There's nothing worse than being stressed at work. I retire this March. I wish u well.
Good luck to you. I wish I could leave but I’m not able. So tired.
all these delivery companies are modern day slave labour, I worked for DPD for 1 year and was the longest serving in my area, says it all imo
i was the same just gotta keep faith that you'll find something@@karenmarriott4479
Good luck. YNWA
Best wishes for your new endeavours
All the best fella. Watched you on and off for many years. Amazon has a shelf life im back in tomorrow after just over 3 weeks away from them. I like the flexibility 4 on 3 off most weeks for me. Work loads relentless but that’s like majority of the parcel firms now a days. DPD, Amazon, etc. Do you see yourself ever returning to Amazon?
Smashing the views on this one 👌👌 I'm glad I'm taking a couple of months break from Amazon, Wouldn't like to be hitting the 6 day weeks for life 🙏🙏
youll be fine mate
Good luck with whatever's next!
Looks hardwork and bad hours which vans are better mercs or the fords
End of an era! Best of luck to you!
today i did 177 stops, 250 locations and 299 parcels. First drop to last took just under 8 hours. If it wasnt for where the route was during rush hour I reckon id have finished 30-45 minutes earlier. If the routes good and theres lots of envelopes or porches… the big routes are doable but theres a big slice of luck needed in some areas. Today was bin day too 🤣
I've been delivering for amazon for 6 years it's swings and roundabouts one day you might have a lovely 140 stop route nice area lots of porches and the next day a 170 stop nightmare route you have to take the good with the bad
With Amazon they sequence the routes so the drivers are out close to the 9 hour mark as possible. Hence why you end up going back on yourself more than once at times. Bigger routes definitely doable but being able to use the app to your advantage and having porch ways definitely helps 😂
I don't follow the route in amazon's order I look at the map and do it in the order I think is best so I'm not going on the same street more than once I'm usually on the 10:10am wave gey to my 1st stop about 11am n I'm usually done by 5 half 5 with a bit of leaving somewhere n note through door lol but there is one route which is beautiful I can get it done by 3:30 4pm
Theres a few areas on my route where if I don’t drop lucky on a parking space, I’ll have to move vehicle due to stopping traffic… i can get away with stopping traffic to quickly post an envelope but if the streets got 7 or 8 drops of boxes and theres traffic… I’m parking at end of street and hot footing it 🤣
On monday… my luck was in, all the bad spots were traffic free and I could stop right at the drop. But i still had to spend 30 mins cleaning van after cos a parcel leaked syrup all over the shelf.
But this regular route I do is not the worst one I’ve had, so I’ll stick with it! I seem to get it most the time… I know the bad spots and how to deal with them, and thats worth a lot.
If you don't mind me asking what part of the country you deliver around and does your dsp give the blue amazon vans me I deliver around Birmingham City Centre and area's around it n you mostly get a different route everyday you might get the same one a couple times a week n I have to rent a van so that kills me a bit
Hey zach I’m in my first week of being a real estate agent in Dubai and I’ve followed your journey for the last year or so and you’ve given me confidence in terms of Dubai because I find it great to see you still have your charisma despite the job not being ideal, cheers mate
hows it going?
If you have someone that has chosen to deliver all there Amazon packages at once do they come with the same person or someone else as I’m doing a big order
You guys must have a different system. We have to take pictures and complete the delivery on our phones, and half the time the delivery location pin in wrong, so we have to turn off our data, move the pin, remember to turn our data back on, take a picture, swipe to complete. Then it pins you again even though your service is off. This is especially bad in the country. But I'd still rather be in the country than the city with a bunch of apartment and retirement homes.
What DSP did you work for now you have left?
Hey bro, I just did my D&A test today and got my training next Wednesday do you have any tips for training and do I need to worry about the test at the end of training days thanks
No need to worry about the test it’s very easy
@wellsmma thanks so much for letting me know im looking forward to it now tbh
@@gsrcannell3769 how did it go mate
@@gsrcannell3769 do they test for THC in the UK
Im a brickie by trade but started doing amazon due to lack of site work due to cost of living etc and cant wait to get back on site working for amazon is awful
I'm in the exact same situation of you can't get onto site
I may be asking a silly question but do you get any benefits with working for Amazon/DPD etc?
Not really, only the self employed benefit of picking your shifts so no need to commit every day. Also small discounts and cash back and I do mean small via an app. Two benefits but loads of drawbacks for being a self employed delivery driver. Do not do long term. Your physical and mental health will decrease very rapidly with these jobs. Oh I forgot to add you might get a free torch and a pair of gloves…
Start a window cleaning round. Surprisingly more money in it than you would think
I did this 5 years ago when i was 17, you learn a lot from it surprisingly
@@NBeeRLwhat things did you learn? Just curious?
What you doing next Zac
Wait a full video and not even saying what you are doing next? 🤔
What will you be doing next zac or is it a secret, stuff then haters
Jeff hasn’t had much to do with Amazon in over a year
how many hours do your routes normally take, and do you still get the full pay if u finish early? and if u finish early are you forced to do rescues?
