- The Quiraing on the Isle of Skye frequently appears in UA-cam videos, whether traveller vloggers, drone videos or just people recording their great Scottish adventure, but the geology is fascinating and a little insane.

This deserves more views, fantastic production
Thank you, the channel is slowly growing but I’m glad you enjoyed it
Simply stunning
Well presented. Thanks! 🙏
Yes well put together with some good Geology. Nick Zentner will love you!!!!
I had to Google Nick Zentner and pleased he has some videos to watch.. I believe the NW US has a lot of flood basalts. I can't come anywhere near the level of detail a geologist can share but I will return in 2022 to explore more of Skye's geology
Great images and views 👌👍
Thank you again for such a great drone waltz over the Isle of Skye! As you say, its fascinatingly mad!
Really glad you enjoyed it.. back this month for more amazing geology on Scottish islands, Aran, Mull and Harris as well as stunning scenery and history.. so keep a look out for more quirky videos.
Wow! It's no surprise that Scotland is the birthplace of modern Geology. The whole country is filled with magnificent landscapes and geological wonders. Thanks for the amazing video!
Check out the geology play list, and more to come. A busy year
This is........well.....Simply Brilliant !!!
well, I frankly feel honoured! thank you
As a Skye aficionado myself I love this very informative video. Looking forward to exploring the rest of your channel in all its diversity!
thanks.. I am returning to Skye this spring to explore the heart of an ancient volcano and the opening of the N.Atlantic
@@julesdingle Good to know. I look forward to the video. Enjoy the trip!
Go to Skeabost, the broch there, St Columba's Isle, the Cladach Àrd, Tote, Peiness and Drumuie. The centre of the Viking settlements.
@@lmclm1755 I'm back in May so will add those to the list.. thanks
That was fantastic. is the thumb tag Roger Dean
thanks, and yes it's Roger Dean..the real landscape just reminded me of old Yes Albums
@@julesdingle I love Roger Dean and everything about it The place is spiritual
Excellent work,
Bravo!
As a regular “returner” to Skye,
this seems to be
a great start to
(what should be)
a much longer
overview presentation
featuring the other
Uig-Faery Glen
end
of the rainbow.
Skye is THE volcanic island and a great place to explore the creation of the N.Atlantic.. so I will be back this spring and explore more locations
Hi, Jules David from last night here. I found my phone it was hanging on the sun visor in my van. Anyway - it was nice meeting you. Hope to meet again but sober next time 👍
cheers.. Fb me and you will have a rough idea where I'm at.
Left early.. let sleeping dogs lie, and I trust you found your hat
@@julesdingle Alls good 👍
@@julesdingle I don't use fb sorry but I'll have the Mrs add you and we will catch up. I will be in Skye in the next couple of weeks. With my boat so the offers there
@@theorigonaldave will stay in touch.. you have my number txt
Narrative compliant.
Inappropriate music
sorry you feel that way, selecting music is always problematic especially so given copyright restriction. I did want to avoid overtly Scottish music, I do use it but it can be a cliche.
I selected Blue Danube because of the waltzing nature of the drone footage [and its also copyright free] I hope it did not distract to much from the fabulous scenery and extraordinary geology.
@@julesdingle Thanks and understand your situation. I did that circular walk yesterday and it was breathtaking.
@@richardgach6955 a truly extraordinary landscape, especially on a clear day although the loose soil going over the top can be challenging
You don't need the Click bait thumbnail
it has had a few 1000 views so hardly click bait, it is a genuine appreciation of Roger Dean's work and the closest landscape in Britain that gets to being fantastic
