Easiest Wooden Drink Coaster Ever - Save Your 4 x 4 Scrap

But, if you want a wooden coaster that's a perfect size and easy to make, these are the coasters.
Materials:
4 x 4 Douglas Fir - Home Depot (not pressure treated and use scrap wood if you have it)

Beer - Local package store
Do not drink if you're under age

I followed this tutorial pretty much to the T, but my miter saw kept cutting my 4x4 hotdog style and not hamburger.
What gives!?
