Two Little Known Sights in Ireland and Sligo

On Day 6 of our Ireland travels, we head north into County Sligo to visit Sligo town and two little known sights in Ireland - Benbulbin Mountain and Gleniff Horseshoe. We'll see this amazing scenery that inspired the history, literature and mythology of this part of Ireland.
You'll see Diarmuid and Grainne's cave, and hear the legend that surrounds it, meeting mythic warrior Fionn MacCumhaill along the way. We'll give you a peak at the view from inside the cave, and introduce you to a number of hiking and walking trails in the area, including the new Yeats Trail. This is Yeats Country, and we'll share some history of this Nobel prize winning writer who made Benbulbin famous.
You can check out the ruins of the old Baryte mine in the Horseshoe, and learn about one of our favorite UA-camrs who has some awesome drone footage of this area. We'll pass Benwisken mountain along the way, and head back into Sligo town to have a pint in a local place and take a stroll down the Garavogue Riverwalk.
