Final Fantasy 3/6: Fastest Way to Level Up Characters (World of Ruin)

Need exp egg relic and a way to make yourself invisible.
When in dinosaur forest, run from Brachiosaur encounters.
If SNES mini, save state is a life saver. If cartridge, save often.

Outside the Dinosaur forest (on the plains), you always run into those 4x Tumbleweeds encounters. And they give more EXP then 1x Tyrannosaur encounters (while being far less dangerous). Best overall leveling spot (even if not quite the best EXP you can get).
The Tumbleweeds use Lifeshaver if only 1 is left alive, and you damage it for non lethal damage.

yeah, that's why he should have used Autocrossbow on the 4 Tumbleweeds instead of attacking 4x with the Scimitar.

If playing the SNES version on an emulator, enable cheats that give you 0exp after each battle, no random encounters, all of Gau's rages, all of Mog's dances, all items, and 99 of each item. You will need the super balls for bosses and forced battles. You will never be able to fully take advantage of every single level up for every single character due to forced party level averaging at key points in the story during the game. Play the game normally until you have acquired: Bahamut, Crusader, Bismark, Golem and/or Starlet, Zoneseek and/or Tritotch, and Odin. When grinding exp for levels, use Bismark for Vigor, Golem/Starlet for Stamina, Zoneseek/Tritotch for Mag Pwr, and Odin for Speed. ODIN IS THE ONLY ESPER THAT INCREASES SPEED. To achieve 9999HP at Lvl99 for all characters, use Bahamut after hitting Lvl69, and remove Bahamut after hitting Lvl71. To achieve 999MP at Lvl99 for all characters, use Crusader on Terra, Celes, Mog, and Relm after they hit Lvl47, and take it off after they hit Lvl50. Sabin and Cyan need Crusader from Lvl47 to Lvl52, and all other characters need Crusader from Lvl47 to Lvl51. As far as I know, this is the only way to min/max stats for every single character in the game, aside from Gogo & Umaro. Provided the proper stat distribution per level, genji gloves+offering, and utilization of the Quick spell, this leveling setup allows for a maximum total damage output of 159,984 damage per character, and a theoretical grand total of 639,936 damage per round. I tend to grind every character's speed stat to a minimum of 50, and then I will spend my time evenly increasing all of their other stats until they reach Lvl99.

You can also spam Merton/Meltdown having a Paladin/Flame Shield and an Economizer(if you have one) equiped and send everything to hell

I really like the desert under Miranda which has the Hoovers. They give 7524 EXP, 10,000 Gil, and 5 magic points. If you use stop they won’t attack you at all. When I was like level 30 I used stop, ice 2, chainsaw, and then a blitz to split the XP to 1800 between 4 members. After I got to around 45 I used terra and used stop then ice 2, and then regular ice with the gem box and it is a kill pretty quickly. I find dinosaur forest to be a lot more dangerous but it’s definitely the most efficient place to farmz

I know this is a 2 months old comment but you can kill Hoovers in one hit with Death magic :D.

If you go into a battle and cast a status effect on your party it will stay on your party after the battle ends

@@nashtornado6446 phantom summon makes all members invis. use phantom with your non leveler then run or doom the non leveler. now you can go into battle with invis
