Doom Eternal is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main game in the Doom series and a direct sequel to 2016's Doom, and is set for release on March 20, 2020, for Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch version planned for a release at a later date. The game received positive reviews from critics.
Players once again take on the role of the Doom Slayer, an ancient warrior who battles the demonic forces of Hell, from a first-person perspective. The game continues its predecessor's emphasis on "push-forward" combat, encouraging the player to aggressively engage enemies in order to acquire health, ammo and armor. The player has access to various firearms, such as the Combat Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Heavy Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, BFG 9000, and Ballista. Melee weapons such as a chainsaw, the "Crucible Blade" energy sword and a retractable arm-blade "Doomblade" can also be used. The arm-blade provides the opportunity for a larger variety of quick and violent "glory kill" executions, which always drop extra health. The Super Shotgun is now equipped with a "Meat Hook", which slingshots the player towards an enemy, functioning as a grappling hook in both combat scenarios and environmental navigation. The Doom Slayer's armor now includes an Equipment Launcher with the ability to lob grenades and ice bombs, as well as a Flamethrower that provides protection from fire-based attacks. Burning enemies always drop armor puckups, while chainsaw-killing enemies will drop ammunition. New movement mechanics such as wall-climbing, dash moves, and horizontal bars to swing from will also be introduced.

Oh man, i was wishing you run it with disc install only, without update. I wanted to know if Beth account was mandatory on version 1.00...
idk, the campain wont install for me for somereason, only battlemode, and its for the xbox one so.......idk if itll be different on the playstation, plus i cant use the wifi on the xbox, hotspots suck is all ill say.
If you hit the menu button on the game and select manage, does it appear in the list of things you could tick to install?
@@GeekAloud nope, I just turned my xbox on the wifi, even tho my mom might yell at me later, oh well, it's still not downloading after I turned it on the wifi tho, I'm still hella confused
It sounds like it is still installing. You can play battle mode while the install completes ✌️
@@GeekAloud sadly, I tried installing it....it says it's installed, I click on it, then a menu of the game info, and if I wanted to uninstall it was there......what is happening?
Do we need to download day one patch? Is it compulsory. Please reply , I don't have a good internet connection.
When i try to play campaign it says “Campaign content has to be installed in order to access the doom eternal campaign” but it doesn’t have a campaign installation thing
Edit: I fixed it i just downloaded the campaign in the game downloads thing on xbox (idk what its called)

I downloaded it and now whenever I try to go to the second level it says content still pending install please try again later how do you fix this
It sounds like it's still installing in the background. Just let the install continue for an hour and try again.

I have tht same problem but it doesnt say its downloading in notis so what should i do? Do i just let the game run on homescreen? Or is it glitched??
If you highlight the game on your Playstation then press Options on the controller a list is displayed. Select Information. What size is the install?

I have the physical version and when I install it ..it suddenly stops installing and put an X mark on the install bar ...so do you know any solution to this???
Check you have enough free space on your drive for the install 👍

It's time to rebuild your database. Power off the console by pushing the power button for 10 seconds until you hear the system beep twice. Turn the system back on and select option 5 rebuild database 👍

Sorry to hear it 😥 You can try installing something else from disc, this confirms it's just this title. Also visually inspect the bottom of the disc for finger prints, dirt and scratches.
