If you're on the fence of buying this game, don't be. It's everything you want it to be, I promise. It goes back to basics, and feels just like an original DOOM game, but looks fantastic. Don't worry though, the graphics do not hinder the performance.

Games that wouldn't even exist without Doom : Half-life, Unreal Tournament, Counter Strike, Medal of Honor , Call Of Duty, Fear, Fall out 3 and 4, Bioshock, Borderlands, Payday, Dishonored, Rage, Titan Fall , Apex Legends...
I like the face of a Revenant on the thumbnail. He's like:
DOOM filled my desire for what Halo 5 should have been. No sprinting, ungodly amounts of armour customization, and a possibly better version of forge known as SnapMap. DOOM is the first game I purchased in a very long time and I have to say I was highly impressed with it. It provided what I'd been missing from FPS games now a days.

I want to buy DOOM as soon as I get my next paycheck. I'm an oldschool DOOM player. My dad LOVED DOOM when I was a little kid, and he would let me watch him play (or let me play myself if I had been well-behaved). I remember sitting on his knee while he used a logitec joystick to navigate the levels. Videogames, especially older games like DOOM and original NES Zelda, are super nostalgiac bonding experiences for me. Can't wait to spend the new DOOM with my fiancee now, but I think if I'm on her lap it'll be a little hard for her to see the screen. ;)
I freaking love how doom is just sitting in a corner while all the other shooters are screaming and fighting at each other
