    After having worked in aged care for many years, I am well aware that some people have great difficulty in swallowing. This issue can apply to many ages and for many reasons. Your ideas are greatly appreciated. 🇦🇺💞

    My mom had the rest of her teeth removed about a month ago, so she has no teeth at the moment, and she isn't going to get new dentures fitted for at least another month. She's already super tired of eating the same foods over and over again, so I'm definitely going to bring this up to her! Thank you for sharing!

    Thank you so much for this recipe. I am going to try it. My husband, 7 children and I were driving home from church in a bad storm last week, when a tree fell down on our van. Thank the Lord I was the only one hurt. But i have lots of bones in my face broken and I'm getting surgery on Wednesday for it. I have been on a pureed food diet for a little over a week, and will be on it for a whole month after surgery. I said all that just to say, Thank you so much for sharing that recipe. ❤

      My Surgery went well Wednesday. I got Discharged on Thursday and I'm home now. There are Splints in my nose, most of my top teeth are wired in, my palate Is put back together with plates, and my upper jaw is back together with plates. Pureed diet for 6 weeks for me. 🙄 Please pray pain will subside some and healing will go well. And thanks again for the pureed foods recipes. If you have anymore I would love to have them. - Becca

    Hi, I appreciate these no chew videos, saw the casserole meal ect . Embarrassing to comment about this, I was chef, grillmaster, butcher, hunter while life, lucky passing on to my grandchildren, always figured could just make meal and put in processor, not true, like you said in another video drain the grease ect.. learning, was just adding and ended up with goopy food or oil slick. Grandkids doing my annual pig roast, BBQ chicken ect.. on own, I'll advise as much as can but🤷, helped them last year, it's big family get-together but neighbors welcome. Wanted you to know it's appreciated, can't make just any Finnished dish and put in processor.. learning it's parts ect... Bless you.

      I have another meatloaf purée video. For the most part you can prepare any regular meal as normal and then purée for a wonderful taste. You just have to look out for a rough or unpleasant color change. But if the color doesn’t bother you. Then purée away! Glad this video can help you!

    • @MikeinAlbany
      @MikeinAlbany 2 роки тому

      @@CookingAtPamsPlace I've had to do it for the last 10 1/2 years. Your video showed how perfectly the texture can come out. I have personal assistants who don't want to run the blender long enough because it makes too much noise. I keep saying to go longer, but they just say it looks puréed enough for them. When it does come out well enough, it is excellent. When I order out from restaurants, it all just goes in the blender. Fruits and vegetables? In the winter they become soup for lunch. Whenever I have to go to the hospital to treat infections, they have puréed food. There is no variety as they have the same menus every day, but the food is actually quite good. You read that right: tasty hospital food. If they would just take their regular menu and purée it.
      Always looking for new [easy] ideas.

      No just a couple to show how and what to do. It’s the same general concept. For most things you can make as usual like spaghetti and meat sauce. Go ahead make it as you normal would then just a cup or half a cup put it in the food processor and pulse it until desired consistency. You only want to do a cup at first to determine how much you need to pulse it. Blenders work too but they can seriously purée.

The same with mashed potatoes they can be made smooth enough that all you really have to do is swallow. Keep blending until there are no more chunks of potatoes. Awesome and remember you can puree ANY meat just add the liquid. I had BBQ beef yesterday with mashed potatoes and it was amazing! If you want me to do any other specific recipe for a video just let me know! Thanks so much for watching!

      @@CookingAtPamsPlace . Yes please. I have a cousin and I brother who are having all of their teeth removed. One is getting full mouth implants and the other is getting full mouth dentures. Any protein packed meals will be helpful because they need protein for healing.
      Also people who are in the first stages of gastric bypass surgery need chewless meals because the pouch can't handle dense foods.
      You have a whole new world of people to prepare meals for.
      Breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
      Thank you so much.
