For sure this is a far more faithful 8bit recreation, also the rhythm in this version is spot on, a few mistakes in the 8bit escapades version which if you're used to though drumming along to the record breaks the immersion.

Wow. I like how clear and transparent all the interlocking rhythms and melodies are, especially on Crumbling Castle. (Were all those bits in the original or did you add any?) Also I really like how much rich low end is in the warm chiptune sounds, makes it really pleasing to listen to.
