The reception this project is having is way beyond any of my expectations.
I'm so happy that so many people are finding this to be a nostalgia trip to their childhoods/early teens.

Thank you so very much. I actually tackled this as a serious project rather than a meme. I tried to make something that resonated with me and that I could feel proud of, something that I could come back to years from now and still like. Ironically, this is the most mature my music has sounded yet lmao.

I feel like all midwest emo kids have the same core memory: it's a cool summer night, you've been outside all day with friends. Fireflies light up the neighborhood. The street lights are on, that means it's time to come home... you come up to your house, toss your bike in the front yard without a care in the world. You can see a light on inside. Man, what a fun day. Can't wait for tomorrow. I'm going to hang out with my friends forever. Life is good.
It's hard to move on from that past, thou we still have plenty of life to live. Use the past as what it's meant to be, a memory, a lesson of what you cherish in life. Use it as a reference for what you want to gain now to improve your future.
