No interviewer in all of Los Angeles:
"So Rachel, how do you account for your extremely flippant and dismissive comments about the exact same things you're now professing love & respect for about... 3~ months ago? On camera?"
A I and uh...uh.... Trump fanboys.
Weird, weird!
"I'm a woman and ppl hate women!"
Like Rachel, interviewers also follow a script. The thing is not all of them are vile entitled selfish vermin like Rachel, just cowards.
Well its because they are having a bad day and I... well gosh Im making a movie
First Rachel says she hates Snow White and now suddenly she loves it. Such a liar. She hasn't changed at all. She's still the same. A stupid, selfish narcissist. I hope she gets fired from the role of Snow White!!! 💔💢
I hope they keep her on and it tanks massively. That way she and Disney might actually learn from this.
But, they probably wouldn't.
Rachel is just a typical cute girl surrounded by WOKE Hollywood & college friends who she could entertain by pissing on American values. She had no idea the average American didn't find anti-American heritage stuff cute. Lots of young Americans are misled by the WOKE mob. @@samuel5591
I don't. This live action Snow White has been shaping up to be a disappointment. Let Rach be a part of it.
I mean, she is an actress. In other words, a professional liar.
Drinker dressed up with the Christmas swag, very nice. And it's always a pleasure to see Baggage Claim back in the bar.
bro i cant believe that Drinker and the after hours are incriminating Majors and literally agreeing with shills after adamantly siding with johnny depp against the media defending him even when Depp texted: “Let's drown her before we burn her!!! I will (expletive) her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she's dead.”Depp has previously apologized to the jury for the vulgar language in the texts and said that “in the heat of the pain I was feeling, I went to dark places
it's like the Drinker is celebrating christmas in Hawaii
The token women of the cast.😂
@@ggt47 I don't think so, she makes good points. and is easy to look at to boot.
@@jonskinner5664 I know I was just teasing. I enjoy her videos as a woman or colour not some "cis white hetero".
This is the peak cast. Robot head and Baggage claim are fantastic additions
2:29:47 - Die Hard is actually a Christmas movie, and here's why: it takes place on Christmas Eve, it has Christmas music, it has Christmas motifs, Christmas is constantly referenced throughout, it takes place at a *Christmas* (not holiday) party. And beyond all of that, at its core, it is the story of a man trying to reconcile with his wife so he can spend Christmas with his family. The producer, director, and star have all said it is a Christmas movie.
Heresy!
Now what Hollywood weirdos say matters? 😅 lulz. Let’s do the math. Could it happen on the day after Christmas? Yes. Christmas is a backdrop.
@@Rockwellsfighting14 No it could not. It had to be Christmas Eve for 2 reasons. 1. It meant there were people there for the party, i.e. hostages. 2. It meant skeleton security crew to oppose their operation.
Agreed!
Also McLane saving the day is basically a christmas miracle.
Remember when people called us all delusional 'ists' for saying Disney was a sinking ship?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Modern Disney is screwed
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then you fight them. Then you win.
What did Pepperidge Farm do again? I was under a rock I guess. I don't eat their crappie stuff anyway so please enlighten me. 😆
@bkblair71 it's a meme. Pepperidge Farms used to have an ad where they'd say, "Remember X nostalgic thing? Pepperidge Farms remembers."
@@Hagashager I see know. Thanks.
Baggage Claim should be in the opening intro. Shes one of Drinkers OG guests.
Yeah exactly. She's brings a lot of good points to the conversations.
I think she would be carrying a lot of steins like a German in Oktoberfest.
While your point stands, I believe the intro was made by a fan
Love how Open Bar has just become my state of the media news source.
Well... When you got a few great honest people with wide range of well thought opinions and not some lying hacks... why not?!
It turns out that Mauler was Rachel Ziegler all along.
weird weird!
This makes perfect sense if you dont think about it alot!
i mean...Have you seen them both in the same room? Don't think so..
@@TheEasterFerrethehee
Maybe the real Rachel Ziegler was inside of us all along
Baggage Claim's eviscerating indictment of how woke ideology goes viral was about 20 IQ points higher than the usual "Star Wars is bad" UA-cam conversations I hear. Well done. Please bring her back more.
No forgiveness, no remorse. She dug the hole, now she gets to lay down in it.

I honestly believe if Les Grossman was in charge of both Star Wars and the MCU, we’d currently be in a golden age of movies.
And why? BECAUSE HE'S LES! F!@%ING! GROSSMAN! THAT'S WHY!!!
🤣🤣🤣👍
I was kind of in a bad mood and then I watched this. The first 7 mins alone made me laugh and smile. I feel alot better now. Thank you guys
Actually my favorite open bar. It could only better by adding Fringy. Fringy and Robothead with Baggage would be a dream.
i would love to see a triage of upside-downers: robot head, fringy and shadiversity. whether it's here, EFAP, FNT, it would be something the whole family enjoys.
14:15 FYI Don't know if anyone pointed this out but Jack Gleeson (the kid that played Joffrey) is actually making a comeback. His
come back tour starting with Out of Her Mind (BBC, 2 episodes in 2020), a few things here & there & was In the "Land of Saints and Sinners" a Irish action thriller film staring Liam Neeson release on 6th September 2023 (I believe on Netflix).
Glad to hear it! He's got some serious acting chops(he practically chewsup a scene!),
but I'm happy that he took a few years off to finish his schooling. 😊👍
One of my favorite moments in the Lord of the Rings trilogy is when the eagles come to rescue Frodo and Sam from Mount Doom. If you pay attention, there's a third eagle. It's all told in the subtext: Right up until the end, Gandalf held out hope that Gollum could be saved. Tragic and beautiful. Not one word of dialog.
Modern cinema would have had that third eagle make some smartass quip about a sore back.
There's no need to lie for clout. Sad.
@@kristienwhitney-johns5863 you’re a fun bloke
This was an amazing open bar. Everyone was so level headed and talked very kindly to each other. No one interrupted each other and a lot of great discussions were brought up. Baggage Claim and Robot Head in particular were very pleasant i hope you have both of them on again in the future. Movie Cynic was great too in this one.
"The original" murder on the orient express is the book and sadly we've got NO faithful adaptation so far. It's a crime.😭 Although, yes, the older version is less painful
David Suchet is still my favourite Hercules actor. He played him for 24 years.
@@YourLocalCopiumDealer DS is fantastic! I'm so mad his later seasons (~2010~) got derailed by idiots who suddenly decided to rewrite AC's plots. Ugh
@@TheAsuraeva Agreed. I highly respect Doyle for what he did for forensics, but AC took his science and added empathy and psychology to it, which made her mysteries rise above his... imo. Even after I know who-done-it her vivid characters are reason enough for me to read it again.
1:32:45 "For most people it is almost impossible to defend traditional values...."
First, let's remember that traditions evolve because they solve problems inherent to human nature across centuries and even millennia.
Here are two quotes that can bolster the foundation of your confidence in historic values in cultures around the world:
1. “Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.”
― Gustav Mahler
2. “Tradition is a set of solutions for which we have forgotten the problems. Throw away the solution and you get the problem back. Sometimes the problem has mutated or disappeared. Often it is still there as strong as it ever was.”
― Donald Kingsbury, "Courtship Rite"
Great quotes.
Counter-quote!
“A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Counter to your counter-quote: Ralph Waldo Emerson was a huge dork who never accomplished anything other than writing navel-gazing hippy poetry, at a time when other people were fighting for human rights, inventing things, and making critical discoveries.
And the common courtesies and civil behavior is what allows people to live together without killing each other. Look at what is happening since the civilities and courtesies has been tossed out as old fashioned and unnecessary.
@@sorbabaric1 Agreed.
The church (and religion in general which formed the basis of those customs) of 100 years ago had many shortcomings we're all aware of.
However, I don't feel the new "religion" - wokeness and the progressive left, has been an improvement on the old paradigm.
I'm reminded of the lyrics to "Won't Get Fooled Again" by the Who:
"Meet the New Boss
Same as the Old Boss"
with the caveat that today's people no longer recognize the principles or practice the 10 commandments and other religious doctrines which helped keep the darker aspects of human nature in check.
I've been an atheist since around age 12, but I'm starting to think that society in general is far worse off for having largely abandoned religion (at least among the "elites") in "Western" societies. Morality needs a foundation in a core set of beliefs.
"Short bus" joke. Ha, didn't know this was a universal thing. 😂
Glad you reached out to Robot head aka mauler's down under brother
Its still amazing to contrast Marvel's reaction to the Majors accusations with how they treated Carano for tweeting.
NO, the apology needs to be sincere and it was NOT!
1:50 - in the exact same scene in LOTR - Pippin knocks the armour off the edge of the well and it causes a racket as it falls... and we hear it again and see Pippin grimacing... then once more it lands in a big heap... before Gandalf scolds him - THAT is perfectly balanced humour and brings an air of hilarious brevity to the moment, whilst at the same time making you suck air through your teeth in the knowledge it will bring a million orcs their way!
a trilogy like LOTR will never happen again - and the world is all the lesser for it - but i'm glad we got that at least.l
We are seeing this trend all over Hollywood these days: there's no sense of teamwork. There's no sense of sacrificing one's personal glory to build a better franchise. Rian Johnson wanted to make his own name at the expense of JJ's ideas, Multiverse of Madness had a director who admitted that he appropriated the "cool" idea of Wanda going full rogue for his own movie when that wasn't the original plan. That's leading to a jumbled, egotistical, narcissistic mess.
Legit 💯👍
It's funny how the efap audience is desperate for Mauler to criticise Robot Head because he said mean things about their beloved Andor, yet, whenever they're on a show together, they get on well.
Yeah sooner or later people will accept the fact that MauLer attacks ideas, not people. If Andor comes up you best believe he'll defend it, but otherwise he isn't an asshole about it.
the internet is just a colleseum
I’m an aussie. And yes, it does snow somewhat in Australia. only in the snowy Mountains. And I, for one take pride in the fact that I learnt how to ski on treacherous ice with barely a layer of powder snow on top. Because due to that, I’m a much stronger, more capable skier. Because I was forced to learn on desolate slopes.
thats nothing compared to your forefathers, they were ski’ing with gripless daps without ski poles and their legs chained together.
Your ancestors look upon you and laugh.
Robot head needs to be a regular addition
I did think Sean Gunn did pretty well in the Terminal List, but then, he was playing a weasel...
Perfect casting, tbh
Disney is now run by Disney villains
Change my mind
Even Disney villains would be more competent than the current idiots running Disney.
@@Blu3-Fir3 💯💯
The Disney villains have standards tho
Hades, Scar, Jafar, Maleficent and Lady Tremaine and Ursula are saints compared to Bob Iger and KK and Dave Filoni. Nothing compares to the evils of human beings
Not just Disney villains.
It's like pre-swole Tightan + Cruella Deville in the world's worst teamup.
Baggage claim is so fucking smart, I love her, she is so amazingly insightful
The Rise of Skywalker was JJ's Kobayashi Maru with the cheats turned off.
Rise of Skywalker was pure bad fanfiction
Damn! Great analogy!
Clearly Disney told Zegler to “tone it down and behave.. or it’s off to a Chinese internment camp for you”
Glad to hear the Drinker is going to watch Godzilla Minus One on the big screen, let's drive the fatal blow to Hollywood where it hurts, the box office!!! I have watched it twice and it's still so good!
Also bought your Dark Harvest book, take my money goddammit and watch the movie again!!
Hollywood is not governed by financial rules. It is bankrolled by finance and intelligence organisations for its use of propaganda. Your money is not a priority to them.
Hope to hear his reviews on other movies like The Boy and His Heron, Silent Night, Maestro, and Ferrari.
Adam Driver was brilliant on SNL as Kylo Ren on Undercover Boss.
That was the funny.
He was also pretty much the only good part of Girls
'I want my muffin Matt' even she wasn't annoying in that skit.
The Jonathan Majors’ texts are damning. I needed a shower after hearing them, as I felt so gross. Why would any woman stay with that? Yet they do…
Zegeler looks decent on mute. When that big mouth opens up she goes from
A 7/10 to a 2/10
I liked her in the Hunger Games prequel; she has an excellent singing voice and her character being a singer plays into the story. I like her character in that excellent movie, no matter who she is IRL
It’s always a good day with Baggage claim on the Open Bar!!
Modern writers, particularly in the west, have completely misunderstood the word "drama."
To them, it means emotional outbursts and constant particle effects.
Im thrilled that the new Godzilla is doing so well to the point it likely means the one coming next year from WB will be widely seen, but heavily panned.
People are aching for good escapist drama.
Don't mind me, just gonna repost my comment from the unlisted stream video:
2:29:52 I prefer the 1971 Christmas carol over the Muppet one or really any other version I have seen, simply for the inclusion of the scene where scrooge looks beneath the robe of the ghost of Christmas present. For those that don't know, he sees beneath the robe a snarling boy and begging girl, representing ignorance and want as the two reasons people do not know the ghost aka celebrate Christmas.
For me I really liked the scene, because it seemed to be a call for the Christian evangelization and charity that the season is built on and scrooge asking if the children had no refuge really set the ghost up for throwing scrooge's words of "are there no poor house or prisons?" back in his face far better than in the Muppet version where its just kind of thrown into the scene where they revealed tiny tim would die, without any of the gravitas befitting the mic-drop moment that it is.
Never noticed that. Cheers!
You need to see the version w/ George C Scott as Scrooge, then. That scene is absolutely included and it is VERY affective (yes, I spelled that word properly).
So does Dickens' original novel, that scene in the two versions that I've seen it in always chill me to the bone.
Lol "Mr. Driver, how does it feel to have to sneak up on a glass of water to get a drink? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Regarding "the cozy mystery" genre, Columbo is a great example of that.
Not too hot in Tassie. Why is an Australian accent so strongly evident when we hear a fellow Aussie speak online. Never got that. Lady Baggage Claim is nice to have a pretty face amongst you sci-fi dudes. This is a cool channel. I am very glad to have come across it. Scottish reviewer, robot heads and a lovely lady = winning combination. I can't quite decipher what Mauler's user pic is - is he a Dyson vacuum cleaner?
I don’t know, I’m from Sydney and I don’t speak like that.
No worries. Of course if I was to be fair my user pic would need to have two heads being Tasmanian. I just am appreciating not having to be politically correct for a change. Hope you have a great remaninder of what has been yet another rather strange year. Cheers.@@aldunlop4622
Regarding war movies, does Jacobs ladder count? If not Platoon is a good one, but The Deer Hunter is also one of my favorites.
I would call it that;the story of a Vietnam veteran suffering from PTSD and who was experimented on with an ultra powerful hallucinogen, all a weird fantasy life generated by the poor guy's brain as he dies,
having never gone home. It's a potent and powerful movie;I wouldn't recommend that anybody watch it while they're tripping on acid though. 😂👍
What's funny is, I legit used to get Robot Head and Mauler confused; they both have things on their faces, and rip on Star Wars in funny accents. 😂
Madds Mickelson was a great protagonist in a western called The Salvation with Eva Green. Very good modern western that got no attention.
Ohh will look into that. Love Eva Green. Thanks for the tip.
I'd forgotten that one. I watched a while back and it's pretty good.
Been a while since I've tuned in. Love that new opening! It's a dream of mine to be on a corner stool with all those folks in the pub!
Even without Zegler's disastrous statements, the flick would be doomed. The bad press around her is only the cherry on the top.
Might be bias b/c I love the Critical Drinker's vids, but the Open Bar theme song is a fucking bop
If not for these, I'd have to work in total silence and with only my intrusive thoughts keeping me company. Thanks a lot, Drinker and company.
What we learned about Jonathan Majors, narcissist to a whole new level! 🤮
News flash Jonathan, if you are a great man, let others say IT!
Hey Drinker! Can you put timestamps on long videos? Would be great for navigation.
Keep being the voice of sanity!
The lad who played Joffery has started acting on screen again in the past couple of years, most of it is smaller stuff. He was still acting after Game of Thrones, but it was theatre stuff with the Dublin-based Collapsing Horse Theatre Company.
We just made a film with Eric Roberts. He shot a full 8 hours with us and then left to got do a night shoot on another movie. He LOVES to work, and he’s great to work with

@@lliamthrumble I read that in her voice.

Best show this year easily, ONE PIECE
It occurs to me that the promo shot with the dwarves might have originally been one of her surrounded by the seven 'magical creatures' and they composited the CGI created dwarves over the top. It would explain why some dwarves behind her are presumed to be standing on something because those would be the taller actors and they needed to do that to obscure them.
You have a sharp eye. I'll recheck the poster now.
JJ Abrams inherited a mess of a story after the second Ryan Johnson's movie, but I honestly think he gets too much of a pass for that. Remember that in the first movie he basically recreated episode IV except it makes no sense and retroactively damaged the canon.
He set up a mystery about Rey's origins in the first movie, and with his creativity, she could have only come from the Skywalker or Palpatine family which are the only 2 lineages with notable force sensitivity in the OT.
Madds Mikkelsen is great in Danish movies, especially the Anders Thomas Jensen`s ones. He often plays an idiotic character in these with such brilliance.
YOU NEED CHAPTERS/TIMESTAMPS

The Shinning is a Christmas movie.
"Don't you mean SHINING?"
"Shhhh lad, we don't want to get sued"
in regards to the tone of modern movies.
I retain that I LOVED ghostbusters 2016, the haunted house, the dude overplaying the scene, the light from the basement and the sense of potential horror.
Then the scene ended they cut to an immediate poop joke and I was out from there on.
That first scene was great, alas the only great thing in the entire thing.
Gremlins might be my favorite Christmas movie.

Baggage Claim made an excellent point about selling acceptance. The problem is the purchase also includes special privileges.
Movie Cynic yay!!!
Ref Christopher Eccleston and the BBC. I'm reading Eric Sykes's autobiography and he's talking about the BBC in the 1950s and it's exactly the same. The BBC has been run by people who know nothing about talent and creativity pretty much since its inception. (I also read Terry Wogan's second book and he was saying the same thing in the Seventies and Eighties.)
I watched Black Adam when it arrived on Netflix, missed it in the theater. I thought it was good... As good as any of the other DC superhero movies. Was surprised that it didn't do better at the box office. Was good to see Cavill back as Superman... I think Gunn's direction for the DCU is the wrong direction... I'm not really interested in the slightest in any of the films I've heard announced.
To give you a little perspective on Eric Roberts’ career choices, the same year he was in The Dark Knight, he was also a voice in A Talking Cat??! Let that sink in.
Was he the cat?
@@MegaSpideyman He was. And, judging by the audio, it sounded like her literally phoned his performance in.

@36:40 - Snow White Apology Tour
“Somehow palpatine returned” should have never happened in the Disney timeline. Driver could act(his was the only choreography where there was a “sell”), turn him into a fully vindictive A-hole no mercy, no cut aways, no chill. Have him run hux before his invasion troops like the whipped dog he became while those knights of ren take up the real command structure of the first order. Have the invasion consist of a good old fashioned ship vs ship slog against a republic beaten and bruised by yet another planet killer out of nowhere, having their standing forces swept before a fleet that out-tech them and bring in a few standing dirty slug fests on film. Only then have the plucky scooby crew intervene with some assassination and disruption shenanigans, dirty them up a bit, have boyega force sensitive, have Poe as a standard Jedi candidate flight leader/commander Leia not much left, have her try to turn Ben around as a last gasp but have her done in by hux before she got close (no visible reaction from kylo). Make Rey utterly fixated on stopping kylo to the point she’s out to use the dark side for her goals. Final scene rey and kylo locked in an even fight of escalating viscousness while Finn takes out the entire ship in tears.
Nothing else, just a never ending slog against a now established for in the middle of a soft/vulnerable friendly territory.
Very seamless intro today 🎉
