The solo I’ll be discussing is for my version of Got My Mojo Working from my 2011 Mongrel Mash CD. While it may seem impossible to some of you because of the fast tempo, I’m going to be talking about how to think about phrasing, and working slooowwwwllly to figure this stuff out. The big take away is if you can play this with good articulation and groove at half speed, which is much easier to learn with slow down software like “Transcribe!”, then over a matter of weeks, maybe months for some of you, you simply gradually speed it up - not as hard as you think!
