Ur welcome...my ppl are very loving & kind...maybe u did not get a good start off...but u will see we are very friendly ppl...may God bless u on your journey...I love to trave as well...I will not mind doing something like that.
Public transportation is organized in Trinidad. As a foreigner you will be not familiar with it. All taxis (cars) are required to have a license plate that starts with H which means it is for hire. They are usually found on designated taxi stands through out. Buses are available but they will only stop for you once you are at a designated bus stop and you need a ticket unless you are over 60 yrs or a school child in uniform. There are mini vans/bus that are colour coded depending on which area you are in.
The Taxis have plates that usually start with H. H- hired P- private (although some ppl with a P plate will ply their car for hire. That's because they don't have a taxi badge. You need a clean criminal record to qualify for a taxi badge. So do what you want with that info😂. T- is for trucks. R- is for rental So anything that begins with an H is some kind of Taxi, bus or mini bus. Hope that helps.
@@Liesel81-across-all-borders Yes as you were working down the street I heard it in the background! The distinctive noise it makes sounds like its name.
Hi Leisel. Thanks for visiting Trinidad. But one day is not enough and you should of hired a taxi for the day to take you around Port of Spain. Fruits are usually at fruit stalls around the heart of Port of Spain, not on Ariapita Avenue which is more so for night life. Hope to see you soon back in Trinidad for at least a few days.
There are so much places that sells fresh juices on the Avenue! Next time organize a taxi. And you would be good to go. Or rent a car! I enjoyed your video!
Great that you write this so let me ask you I movely mainly via shared public transport is there a particular website where I would find Information regarding this in details? With routes and connection?
point taken yes you plans melted because there is no more trams in port of spain we had it all in 1962 the last train ran thanks to the bright ideas of the then govement last train ran was caroni limited that left to there were plans to get train back and running that was shot down by Dookaran the onr minister or un c minister well they pnm back in pwer i think toco port the the rapid rail we will see how that go maybe this time no plan will be melted
Why didn't you ask for help for transportation. Next time rent a car, maxi taxi, bus, cars etc., we also have an app that is similar to urber. Next time ask someone for help and do research next time.
@@Liesel81-across-all-borders well oqing to the high crime rate in the Capital and the northern part of Trinidad most people go to Central or South Trinidad. Much safer, everything is more affordable and yes even the doubles are much better here lol
you totally underestimated trinidad there is no way you can see trinidad in one day. trinidad is not tobago. yes trinidad is a small island but its too big to be done in one day or even two days. you need to allocate at least a week.
the best beach is in trinidad not tobago. that beach is not maracas bay. the best beach is LAS CUEVAS BAY that is the best beach in trinidad and better than any beach in tobago.
TRINIDAD 🇹🇹 &TOBAGO IS BEAUTIFUL. EVERY BODY BIG UP THEIR COUNTRY. I'M BIGGING UP MINES.

Actually most locals don’t even visit Port of Spain. Except for work. No offense but it isn’t the nicest place in Trinidad
Oh interesting to know so where do the locals go
