For two years, we had three kids in three different high schools. One was a special ed school, one was a private school, and one was a public school. None of the scheduled vacations ever aligned and it was absolutely chaotic trying to keep track of everyone’s schedules and activities! Crazy!

I love seeing your blogs. You guys are so good with your boys. I had two boys and now one grandson. My boys are 40,37 and 33. My oldest was the most frustrating they really didn’t know much about high functioning autism back 40 years ago at all. All they kept on saying he has adhd he spaced alot in school and didn’t get work done but some how kept up. The hardest part was when in middleschool my husband spent every weekend catching him up on school work mainly papers. He only was interested in things pertaining to commuters. He ended up getting hid GED and had help thru the school system to help him find jobs. After failing at many jobs he volunteered in computers for the school system. Worked part time for one school and thru Gods grace and another’s teachers recommendation he landed a full time computer tech job in the school system which he is doing very well at not alot of money but he is doing much better at least he has a job he really loves and can do well. He went on a dating web site and met a girl and they are now married and have a nine year old son and a 2year old daughter. The nine year old is on the spectrum I don’t think he is quite on grade level but I believe he will catch up he has had a hard time with his social skills and is very active. Chris is a fantastic father . But if he has to make dinner it takes him a long time and dont be surprised if you leave a list to do things if anything gets done unless you are there to supervise him. There have been lots of difficult moments with Chris but is a very loving smart-in the area he has great interest in and sensitive now adult. I am so glad God gave me Chris I have survived many heartaches with Chis mainly the teasing as we know kids can be so cruel. I know the path for my grandson might not be easy but he has loving parents and grand parents and a caring loving God. I have learned a lot from your channel and your boys are wonderful and add a lot to the world now and will in the future.
I'm excited to see more videos, I don't mind what you call lesser quality, I'm just happy to see you guys! Would you consider to do another video about Ian's education after the summer. Just like the video 'ians autism education' from 4 years ago. I'm really curious

Something else I’m really excited for is our final Concert in Youth Orchestra tomorrow night and we’re playing Maher’s 1st symphony (I’m playing 2nd trombone there right beside my dad on bass trombone) Anyways I hope you guys had a great Memorial Day. I also really love swimming and any activity that involves getting wet.

I’m a 19 year old dignos on the austsim spectrum I’m gonna be 20 in September I was going to a special Ed adult program and I stopped going for 5 months then I decided to give it another chance i stopped going completely in may and I had a meeting today and they dropped me I begged to come back but the program director said no they said I’m to high functioning as well and I need to work on my ged i thought it over again and all I ever did in that program was draw and color and I got picked on as well I don’t know why I wanted to go back so bad today I know the same thing would happen next year is that I would go and I wouldn’t like it so I would stop going.

Do the boys have issues with the sunscreen it has to be on my hands to warm it before being applied. The spray gets in my eyes so I can't stand it.
