Polography has been around for over 100 years and counting, lie detectors are admissible in 26 states and they're used in: Federal Immigration court, sexual assault, kidnapping, murder, RICO drug cases, childhood abuse, childhood sexual abuse cases. Another example of lie detectors is an episode called did you rape my daughter, this episode aired on the show and a man named Shaun Whitt appeared on the show, he never went on the stage to face the heat from Steve, he hid backstage the entire episode. At some point the mother finds Shaun and tries to get him to take a lie detector test and he won't take one, but after Steve convinced him to take one he meets with Dan, the test is going smoothly until Shaun is asked if he ever molested or assaulted his girlfriend's daughter he immediately disconnects himself from the box and makes his way to his greenroom where Steve finds him, he talks to him to finish the test and Shaun flat out refuses, Steve tells him to leave his studio and he never wants to see him again. Well, some months later the mother did an update to Steve, Shaun Whitt was convicted of first degree assault on a minor under the age of 18, sexual assault and sexual abuse, Shaun Whitt is currently serving life plus 20 years in prison.

I feel for these people who get falsely accused, the prosecution really hammers these accusations and makes them look like there's no doubt. And these sorts of allegations can totally ruin a man's life. I had a friend go to Jail accused of molesting his daughter and I found that very hard to believe as the daughter later admitted she made it up, later as in 3 years later. He was released after those 3 years but the same thing, he couldn't see his daughter nor contact the Mother until it went for a re-trial, again the prosecution argued they had 'overwhelming' evidence when all they have was hearsay. and while on bail he had to report in person to the police 4 times a week and wear a monitoring bracelet. It went to re-trial and was found inconclusive and released on restrictions and on a register for 15 years. He was found just last year hanging on a rope. A very good friend of mine who despised these types of people who harm children. The daughter and mother are devastated and Larrys' family are appalled at this great injustice, and nothing can be done about it as the case wasn't dismissed and remains an open investigation. Larry would give you the shirt off his back and he loved his daughter so so much. I will never believe he did this, ever. So I know how this guy feels. I hope you get justice mate!

My Aunts son spent eight years in prison for molesting a little girl while she was at my Aunts Daycare center. She lost her business and like I said he spent eight years in prison. He got out and got caught robbing a house. This was his third offence and now he's in prison for the rest of his life. His first crime was murdering his wife.

Because they SUCK Steve. That’s how. They were garbage, as many are.
I love Steve but he really needs to get out of this delusional mindset he’s in about cops not being crooked and judges and juries being competent. Just because Steve was a good cop does NOT mean that the Justice system isn’t pure filth.
Also if they REALLY thought he was guilty, they would have given him a lot more than 300 days.
