Yes! Thank you. I was just going through comments and was going to say this also. I have met too many people who speak in this way and I swear. The hear on the back of my neck comes up. Not saying they are all bad or creeps, but the way they talk makes you feel like they are trying to put you under their spell. I dated a guy like this, who was emotionally abusive. So I guess I just have bad vibes when it comes to this.

@@Blynn0706 I know exactly what you mean. It's a syntax and a way of manipulating words that makes you uncomfortable. But I grew up in a very Baptist area, so I know some people pick up those habits without realizing, and are awesome individuals. Others do it to get one over on you. I think that's also part of what makes it creepy: You never know HOW or IF they are trying to manipulate you until it's over. It's also not all Baptist preachers lol I just chose that as I grew up because it seemed the most common. Maybe Televangelist Voice would be better? 😅
Also, sorry to hear about the emotional abuse. People suck sometimes. Hope you're happy now. Sending genuine happy thoughts your way.

Imagine throwing away your job of nine years to “protect” your daughter from a predator. How did she think that was logical? If you think he’s a child molester, you leave. You don’t monitor him 24/7 to “prevent” something from happening. She’s insane

If you have to quit your job because you don't feel comfortable with your man being around your kids y'all need to break up if he's that sketchy why take the chance of him doing something to your kids just break up with him for your kids and your sanity.

I don't believe she quit her job over him. That story stinks and makes no sense. Perhaps she hated her job or was fired. She really wants someone to blame and kick when she's down. This man needs to stand up for himself. He clearly has low self esteem.
