Gurukripa sources their samosa from A1. Both stores are opposite each other in Sion. The samosas that you get in theatres are also from A1. Love it!!!
They have now parted ways and make their own samosas
I’m punjabi. And I love guru k samosas 😀 they are in loads of cinema theatres. A must have for me! Though they ain’t anything like they used to be. Reduced size, reduced filling, more covering than they used to be.
There are many famous samosa Outlets all around Mumbai Gurukripa or A1 samosa are famous because of theatres but not that tasty at all now a days,but the list i dont agree at all.

Do try samosas from Dave’s in Babulnath. You would not regret!
Gurukripa coming last is SHOCKING. Brijwasi samosas are damn good. We have them on and off.

U must try samosas from Jay Ambe farsan & sweet mart (marine lines). But i must say these samosas are incomplete without their chutney n dahi. Samosa with their chutney n dahi (only at 14rs) is to die for .
you didn't tried gulati's, i think you missed the fav of bombay
Again filling is a little similar to Gurukrupa from what I remember and it is also smaller like them, but yeah it is fried in ghee and has a very crispy cover.
I wish you showed how the filling of samosas looked. Am sure you pondered over whether to or not!

Guru krupa and A-1 samosas are just kind of street food samosas.....and they are in the market since ages...i mean old school....and other 5 's are new additions the real " punjabi samosas...like halwai makes😅😅

Crunchy munchy samosa party. There are other types of samosas like Patti samosa, dryfruit samosa, Mawa samosa,kheema samosa etc. Many of those I have tried from your list. Samosa and hot tea is divine pleasure.

Gurukripa a1 is overated they serve with chole the quality has dropped over the years. I have been having that since I moved to Mumbai last 10 years back , and my recent visit was just disappointing.
Last 2 ones weren't "punjabi" enuff😂 Punjabi samosa is succha Bombay thing😂
Gurukrupas and A1s are basically the same they are opposite each other and yes they are overrated because they supply samosas to theatres in Mumbai
Everyone recommends gurukripa but honestly it was so disappointing when I ate it, not worth a second try.
