Excellent. I greatly appreciate your videos. I’m new to the crossfire as I just bought a 82 corvette. Really unique in its own way. The engineers behind this monumental design had mind blowing ideas that were massively over engineered. Needless to say it is a amazing system.
Thank you as you’re a real mechanic.

It looks like there are black connectors at the top of your "stick" on the hoses? Are they necessary?

No. They were only there to reconnect the hoses after I cut them to use with my Dwyer manometer many years ago. I don’t even use the homemade manometer and have since thrown it away. I only use my Dwyer.

the extra tubing length lets you put the instrument where you want it instead of limiting options by length

What diameter of tube is beeing needed to accuretly fit to the TBI ?

Hi Joe, I made a watermanometer as you did but when I connect it to my theottlebody it sucks out all the water within seconds. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have your IAC passages blocked and the stepper motors disconnected? The only way the water will get sucked in is if the engine idle is too high when hooking up the water manometer. If the IACs are disconnected and the passages are properly blocked off, the minimum base idle should be about 400-500rpm. Anything over 600-700rpm and it will suck the water right in.

@@Joesmusclecargarage Yes, I disconnect the stepermotors, but maybe the iac's were not properly blocked. I just put some tissue in it. I'll try to block them with some duct tape. Thanks for your notice!

@@christophbansch9448 Tissue definitely will not work. The passages must be 100% sealed without a doubt.
