I bought the Duo set a couple of weeks ago. There's a reason it's inexpensive. Mine is being returned. Cardo customer support are unhelpful. The 2 headsets are reluctant to open the chat channel between them - I have to connect using the app. The app is barely useable - it takes literally dozens of attempts to get the app to recognise the headset unit. One of the microphones seems to have a problem with noise cancellation - it constantly transmits bursts of 'noise' with a 1 second silent pause between each burst. And it's NOT compatible with some other Sena units.
I actually have none of those problems. I can chat and share music with my pillion fine, although it is only one way chat when playing music. Everything else works fine. It probably doesn't work well with Sena units because it's a cardo device.
@@2WheelTorqueX It's sold as being 'universal bluetooth',- so it is supposed to work with other Bluetooth devices but mine would not work with one older Sena unit - it would *pair* but would not receive a stream from it. Cardo told me this was because of "technological advancement" . Seriously, they think because their unit is 'technologically advanced' it won't work with older Sena units. I'm happy your Cardos are fine (I wish mine had been) but I've now spent a liitle extra and bought the Sena 20s Evo, which work perfectly: They pair and connect instantly, their sound quality (and volume) is WAY better than the Cardo, their noise cancellation actually works, they charge faster, and they pair with other units. This was my 3rd pair of Cardos, and the third pair that have been troublesome. 3 strikes and they're out! The Sena 20s Evo is immeasurably superior to the Cardo Spirit and I'm glad that my pillion and I have eventually found our way to them. My advice to anyone reading this is to avoid cheap stuff - it's cheap for a reason.
