finally something other than the bartolini pickups, not that they sound bad or anything
they sound bad indeed trust me. Somehow the Bartolini Mk1s sounded more balanced than the BH2s ones
For real! I have no fucking clue what stranglehold Bartolini has had on some manufacturers, but every time I see a new bass with those fucking fartolini's i know it's going to be easily available for like $500 less used in like a month from release because no one wants to keep that sound, ever.
Ibanez has always had tons of options that aren't Bartolini, including SRs and BTBs with Nordstrand or Aguilar pickups, and of course their own proprietary designs.
Fishman pickups are just as good as Barts. But this video just sounds dog S**t.

Nice, now we just need the Fishises on the EHBs. Not that I don't like the Nordstrands, but variety would be appreciated.
Sounds killer, needs a 6 string
I wanted to put Fluence pickups on my EHB. I ended up selling that bass, but I would consider an EHB with Fluence.
Wow, this bass looks and sounds different. Must be the longer scale as well as the pickups.

Ibanez with Fishmans!? Now we’re getting somewhere! Get these in the BTB MS which has an actual long scale B-string and Ibanez will be beating up the big boys!
New tuners for super fine tuning. So fine that your ears wont even notice. But they cost a pretty penny im sure. My bass never goes out of tune… so there cogs with smaller teeth and a marketing ploy about different ratios per string. Dig in pockets!!! I didnt realize there was such a need for new tuning gears. But if they can smell a dollar…, they will squeeze it outta ya.

Sounds very dry. Maybe that’s the amp settings but comes across as almost too full range in sound.
just sounds so stale to me. been playing ibanez for years and that might be one the most lifeless sounding basses yall ever put out.
The playing in the video is not very good, but the bass seems to have very good specs.
Fishman Fluence have their merit and can sound good in many applications, but the biggest complaint I've seen is that they sound "sterile" without saturation and post-processing.
It's the Fishmans. They almost sound like midi bass. These do sound better than other applications probably thanks to the proprietary 3 band EQ instead of the usual 2 band.
Yall are dumb. Playing is fine and the bass sounds great. Stick to your bedroom cause none of you obviously gig.
Ibanez basses are like that. All of the now dominating "youtuber tone" from all these darkglass-esque/dingwall tones are stale. But yeah, youtuber tone is quite popular over the last few years.
A little pricey for what it is in my opinion
