Here are the reports for how many Losses and Killed West Seaxe: Killed 431 Losses 189 Bandits: Killed 170. Losses 442 I will put every enemy faction in different categories.
You better finish this campaign. Or Imma never give yer troops granola again! To be honest, I completely understand. I usually play the same exact way. Usually I stop playing once I hit max technology on both civic and military. To me, it’s not fun just clicking your armies further into weak, enemy territory only to demolish them with your maxed out armies against their levies.
*1 Episode later* Apollo: "so guys, i think i will end this campaign here. because all this non sense, everybody hate me and declaring war at me for no reason"
The last bandit fell before the warrior in a bloodied heap. His mangled and dirty corpse, now merely a physical reminder of the cold steel of justice, and a warning to all would-be cutthroats. The warrior and his band around him gathered up the wounded and captives and brought them to their king. His armor glistened in the sun, his metal clad body fully visible and imposing from his position above the hill. The king took the captive's weapon, inspecting it's craft as the prisoner fell to his knees before him. Then, with a quick arm movement, the king brought the sword near the captive... Hilt first. Being a kind, merciful lord would win him favor, not wanton bloodlust. He explained to the captive how he observed how he fought, complimenting his form and quick acting. He only needed to be on the right side, and they both knew this. So the king gave him a choice. Continue to be arrested and tried, or take a second chance and use his sword to serve him. The prisoner took the blade back into his hands, seeing the stains upon the steel, and bowed to his new lord. And so, the legacy of Alfred, the philosopher king of Seaxe, noble warrior of the people, bane of bandits, and greatest strategist of all the Britons begins.
@Pixelated Apollo: some books you'll enjoy given your interest in Napoleonic history: - Napoleon The Great by Andrew Roberts - For exploring uniforms at a more casual entry level -> An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Uniforms of the Napoleonic Wars, Digby Smith. (not perfect but a good entry) - Captain Coignet: A Soldier of Napoleon's Imperial Guard from the Italian Campaign to Waterloo (the viewpoint of a soldier)
Maybe we all could RP for this campaign to make it a bit more immersive? Or maybe just set a timer like you gotta finish the campaign in five episodes or something, just to make it spicy
I have an idea for a campaign: "Kingmaker": u gotta help another faction reach a goal (i.e. help Wessex become England but do it as a "vassal" faction of Wessex) U are required to declare war on ur 'King' factions enemies, U must give half of all conquered land to the King faction. Other than ur capital, u have to prioritize protecting their territory over yours. U can only go to war against ur King faction if u vassalize under a new faction. Because its Kingmaker, u cant be an "independent" faction
I really really enjoy the campaigns so I’m always sad when u stop posting episodes on them, either way I’m building a pc and I’ve been watching you for a few years so I’m definitely getting this game to play it myself so thanks for getting me into it
Total War should when a player is maxed out and threatens to conquer everything, have all opponents develop a huge alliance to stop the mad conquerer, like Rome, Napoleon and Hitler kind of had to take on the whole of Europe.
No alfred duke of wesex was a fighting king however on october 24 1066 at the battle of hastings he died fighting when he was shot in the eye by an arow
Apollo: I'm not sure if I'm going to finish this campaign.
Me: He's not going to finish his campaign.

I completely agree with your way of playing grand strategy games. I am doing it for the roleplaying, and not being immersed gets me bored fast
I finished like 3 different campaigns for this game, it doesn't have the best reviews and it saddens me because it's actually one of my favourites
I agree. I enjoyed the campaigns and the mp are really good!!
It looks amazing too, like I love the viking period in England
I want to buy thrones! The last kingdom has me obsessed with this era
Brad MacIsaac what is up w everyone and the last kingdom? I watched the first few seasons and got bored. Is it really that good in the last few?

I personally love ToB. Its a fun campaign and the battles are fun. Interested in seeing this mod though.......King Alfred will be GREAT!!!
i like how he calls the the bandit a coward but at least he fought and not hide behind his shield.
Pixie: I promise you i will finish this campaign
Me: I'm very quite sure that he is not going to finish his campaign, VERY SUREEEEEE

Wessex Peasants - "It's almost harvesting season."
March is as close as ever but yet so far away
You better finish this campaign. Or Imma never give yer troops granola again!

Apollo: "so guys, i think i will end this campaign here. because all this non sense, everybody hate me and declaring war at me for no reason"
"I'm a ... [VOICE CRACK] King..." - Apollo, 2019
15:01 "As soon as Ragnar died, you stopped watching?" Same. No shame.
I love Apollo’s self-deprecating, it’s amazing!

Love your videos Apollo!! Just used your code on displate too!
I love your campaigns, I’m so excited!
Shieldwall is a real piece of work, made play ToB again.
Maybe we all could RP for this campaign to make it a bit more immersive? Or maybe just set a timer like you gotta finish the campaign in five episodes or something, just to make it spicy
YES ANOTHER CAMPAIGN! Even though he doesn't finish them, it's the journey. Keep up the good work!
Not one of your videos has ever bord me. You just make them so interesting!!!
Its frustrating getting attached to watching a campaign video when you know you don't plan on finishing it 🤷♂️
Appolo I'm so happy you're playing this game again. I know you probs won't finish but I'm crossing my fingers
If you like to rp, Imperator Rome is perfect. It's a weird learning curve but it feels so immersive with all the details
I’m getting some percussive mallets and some walking clothes, because I like doing mountain walking
"He promises he will FINISH THIS CAMPAIGN!!!"
Que monty Python and the Holy Grail.
You should read the Last Kingdom books they are insane , my favorite series
I was eating chocolate number 17 - shaped like a bell. Hooray for a campaign!
Me: Why does everything seem overtly sexual?
Apollo: IM GETTING HOT AND BOTHERED
To be honest, I've never finished a Total War campaign.... I get bored too 😂😂
if you would like to be immersed, join the army and get immersed into warfare.

Dangit apollo! You cought me eating chittos 😂
The æ (I think they just have ae in game) is pronounced as a short "eh", so Aethelred would be pronounced "Ethelred".
This got me in the mood to watch the last kingdom again
Dude you have to watch vikings it gets crazy in season 5...
'i promise im not sure that i will finish this campaign'
i won some kind of game on your charity stream xD thank you very much apollo!!!
Vikings is very intense start to finish.
This is the best ironic title
Looking forward to watching this series
I really really enjoy the campaigns so I’m always sad when u stop posting episodes on them, either way I’m building a pc and I’ve been watching you for a few years so I’m definitely getting this game to play it myself so thanks for getting me into it
Yes one more of the Best vid on youtube from Apollo
Good job was worry you would lose that last battle but you clutch that with them javs
💯
that pause when he said own your faults
Yea, best parts in TW campaigns are the early and mid games, the endgame is often just a slow map painting without any threat
Please finish this one love watching all your videos and thrones of Britannia is one of my tw games I love to watch
I LOVE Last Kingdom 😊 s4 is coming out in the next few months

I clicked just for the meme title. Very clever Apollo🙂
I was eating Cheetos. We got something special bro. Something as special as water because these Cheetos are to Spivey for me. :)
The only nation to declare war on me are my neighbors and people who actually dislike me
Total War should when a player is maxed out and threatens to conquer everything, have all opponents develop a huge alliance to stop the mad conquerer, like Rome, Napoleon and Hitler kind of had to take on the whole of Europe.
Actually I'm thinking: FINALLY someone is playing ToB 🙌
Are you serious, you don't watch Vikings? You're missing out on alot of battles like these that you would love.

do you know there is a tv show name the last kingdom which is set in time where alfred the great is great
I'm hoping to get the new watch dogs after christmas looking forward to it always been a fan of the games
Maybe try some of paradox’s games like ck2. I often switch go to for a more immersive experience in terms of geopolitics. Total for battles tho
How about you do a succession campaign, where you play one leader until their death, then pitch it to another youtuber.
I like that idea!
I usually get bored of total war campaigns after about the first 80 turns or less, once there isn't really more units to unlock or nothing.
Do a warhammer 2 campaign
No alfred duke of wesex was a fighting king however on october 24 1066 at the battle of hastings he died fighting when he was shot in the eye by an arow
