Ive been on a binge , watching auto painting videos. Its funny how some guys now think they are work better than anybody else. The don't realize kosmo has been an innovator for decades.
Not sure - i do know that House of Kolor is one of the most expensive, so it would easily be 1 or 2k for the paint, likely more. Labour wise, at least a week for a similar job, so could be a 5-10k respray very easily.

Bro.. the tape measure works vertically and horizontal. You dont need to turn your cap. Especially if you're putting it on a cardboard cut out that you can turn as well...
Right now just for the Kameleon base coat your just under $1200 pre quart. Stuff is stupid expensive the most I’ve paid for normal paint has been $600-$700 a quart.

I'm sure that was Jon's camaro but if it wasn't, that hippie at the end needs to be beaten with his airbrush. a freshly buffed car with the windows OPEN and some guy fogging paint all over the place, smh. great products though
Ever done a guitar? Because of the fact that they are wood, they have different absorption properties. I'd love to see this paint on something like a Parker Fly giotar with really tight "belt lines", just to use an automotive analogy.. In my role as a custom guitar painter, I'm just curious how thes paints absorb into light and very porous surfaces like Basswood for example, With a side by side comparison of a denser wood like white maple, which is pretty standard for necks. I'd also LOVE to see what some of your Kandy, I/E transparent paints look like on figured woods like quilted maple.
fabtastic paint. don;t do that without a breathing mask on and some surgical gloves. that stuff is dangerous, the molecules escape when you stir it, or pour it, just because you don't see the gas doesn't mean it isn't there, it is the sort of stuff that sticks to mucous tissue, like in your lungs, it may take a while, but the little drops on the lungs will stay in the body. not good. wear the mask. love the painting.
Can pearl be used with Matt clear or it has to be added only in base coat and can clear Gloss be mixed with clear Matt for satin finish or sheen for better durability and better looks? Here in India clear base is not available so is it possible to add a colored base and then mix the pearl in clear gloss for second coat and then add the third coat of matt and gloss mix for the sheen? Really looking forward for that pearl effect in satin or sheen finish...

I have a question about how to touch up a chameleon paint job. I have a Mark VIII with blue, green, purple paint and need to touch up a few places any suggestions.
Great Stuff. Which frisket are you using now? I've been using Oramask 810 for years, but recently ran into problems of adhesive release because it has a water based adhesive and the 810S has virtually no adhesion at all.
Thank you for that a lot of times I've asked people about me trying to learn how to paint being visually impaired and you were the only one that has commented back and I am interested if you have a a book or a how to do book or some type of guidance because for many years I've been wanting to learn how to paint because I do love cars and that is my passion to be a painter on my own
If you want to look like a 16 yr old with his very first Honda Civic. Then sure. But a paint job will not only look good but also protect it so your not buying another one in a year.

Madpainter Ken We dont bother with HOK, its just relabelled crap. SEM candys are the best and no problem to get hold of pearls etc the lot
