Hi Sampleist! That's a very nice composition. I was checking The Legend HZ and I love the interface. However, I found some timbral similarities with Dune 3, in both the oscillators and the effects. If you have ever used Dune 3, how would compare them? Thank you! Jose
Hey! Thanks for the comment and great question. So I’d say The Legend HZ is incredibly cinematic but of course it is versatile too, especially with the original factory library. Now Dune3 has been one of my go to synths for years and it is fantastic. Since version 3.6 it has had a number of feature upgrades and it is also MPE compatible. Dune3 for me can handle a lot of different genres incredibly well and there are some great sound packs geared towards certain genres. Of course, both sound great and have similar components based upon different hardware. Dune 3 has this amazing clarity and definition which I think I mention in this video towards the end. It’s hard to describe, but it’s one of the stand out features for me. The Legend HZ also does and punches through the mix but there is something about Dune 3. As I say, both are fantastic. I think really if I am doing something cinematic I’ll reach for The Legend HZ and for something more electronic it would be Dune 3. But then Dune 3 can handle cinematic with ease! They are both great and I wouldn’t really want to be without either one. Plus I’ve used Dune 3 for years and the constant commitment Synapse Audio have to updating and upgrading their instruments just keeps on making them better and better! I hope my meandering response is somewhat helpful! :)
@@thesampleist Thank you very much for your response. I understand what you mean. I'd like to buy a new synth and I have the following options: The Legend HZ, Repro, Zebra Legacy or Diva. Difficult choice! : )
As you can tell, I loved it! :)

What is the CPU usage like with multiple instances running?
