Casey just "blown" her cover! Sure glad it worked out for you and I know you were glad you didn't have to go out and cover the storms. Glad you are safe. Take care and have a good week ahead.
My night sweats and waking up symptoms were due to undiagnosed sleep apnea. At least my CPAP doubles as my sound machine. Weighted blankets are the bomb!!!
You might enjoy the videos by Spencer's Ventura mattress and also mattress makers. They have a lot of videos on how mattresses work and how the cool gel stuff is a bunch of Holcombe but also how to find a good mattress that isn't just piles of foam. Like for example a lot of these memory foams do not move heat through them since they are closed cell technology and they might feel cool to the touch at first but then they trap the heat. Also mattress pads are another example that traps heat. Rock on there. Also I love your Biltmore house video. You have a wonderful flair for journalism and really touched on all the interesting and important aspects of the Biltmore. I look forward to any more that you do that also show off your great chops. Also cranking the temperature down at night is a great way to help. We go to about 67 at night but based on your comfort you may go colder or not
Yes!!!!! I haven't watched your review yet but bedjet changed my life!!! I was waking up 4-6 times a night and not feeling rested for several years. I tried a chili sleep pad - it was not robust enough for a plus size weight and especially not with animals and only lasted less than a week before it leaked all over my mattress plus it left me feeling clammy and damp. I debated getting the sleep8 instead but decided on a whim to try the much less costly bedjet and haven't looked back. Now I only wake up 1 time most nights....I have to sleep cool so I start with the lowest setting (66 degrees in my room) and then gradually increase it in two hour increments, then pop it up to a warming cycle to 85 15 minute before I want to wake up so by the time my alarm goes off I'm usually awake. My bedjet has been going strong now every night for almost 3 years. I love and rely on my bedjet so much that if it broke I would buy a new one every year!
@@CaseyRoman I'm watching now but it should not be hard to install and you shouldn't need to take apart your bed! The bedjet machine goes under or by the side of your bed - hopefully you have that figured out. Did you buy the special sheet? That is the best way to use this - it is a double sheet that allows you to pipe air in between the layers. If you bought the sheet it has openings on either the side of at the foot of the bed where you put the hose nozzle. If you didn't purchase the special sheet then you just stick it under your covers either at the bottom or the side of the bed - the hose has an attachment so that it attaches to the side of the bed so it won't come off and you just put your covers over the top. Either with the special sheet or without it works best with a little bit of weight so use the full set of covers - sheet, blanket and quilt (don't worry the bed jet will keep you cool). Does this make sense? The website should have instructions and they have great customer service....you set it up right!! Try the special sheet :) It's so worth it unless you'd rather spend a couple thousand bucks on something like a sleep8 cooling system. Glad you slept well!!
I have one, purchased used from San Diego I recall. I like it, it is the older V2 model. It does not blow as hard. I live just north of Sanborn, NY, so I mostly use it to keep warm in winter.
HI! i am considering buying this for my BF who, on a good night, wakes up 4 times a night! So imagine my joy when i typed in "is a bedjet worth it for hot sleepers?" and you popped up, speaking directly for those like my BF hahah so you posted about a month ago, are you still loving it? and also, did you get the $100 cloud sheet? trying to decide if that is worth it because i think I am sold on the bedjet now. TYIA and love your spirit!
I do still love it but know that it did take some trial and error figuring out exactly where to place it and exactly what temperature and speed. I’m using it less now that it’s cold out and I can open the windows and freeze myself to death. I LOVE in the morning switching it to HEAT and warming myself up before getting out of bed. I haven’t gotten the sheet yet but people who have if seem to love it if you don’t want direct air. That’s something I might buy in the summer!
Casey, I was gifted a BedJet by my adorable son and daughter-in-law some years ago. I sleep cold and it heated well. I loved it. It eventually broke after heavy use and a couple of house moves. I only used the cooling a few times in the summer and it worked well. When it broke, I would have replaced it except for the price. For me, Menopause was many, many moons ago so my issues might be different than yours. Good luck.
WELL. When you become Madam President; all beds will come with heat & cooling systems built in. Heck -they can do it for our bottoms in a car seat 🤷 Just sayin....!! So very thankful Milton did not cause you any harm 🙏 Sendin Grandmama love ❌⭕, Iris and Little One 👋🐾
Could you put it under the flitted sheet? That way you could burrito your feet but the air would keep the mattress cool and blow air more gently through the threads of the fitted sheet without blasting you.
maybe they will come up with a design that will work for van dwellers. That would be so nice. Unless it goes under 68 degrees outside I can't sleep in mine comfortably even with two battery operated fans.
I am in menopause and man, I thought I was a hot sleeper before...... I sleep with the window open and I live in Northeastern Ontario Canada, so I go from freezing and roasting alternately. When you get old, the doctors stop thinking you are pregnant and pretty much blame everything on your shriveled ovaries and on how fat you are.
When sleeping at rest, one should consider the rotisserie laws at KFC. The Col one said the key to a perfect chicken is the atmosphere in which the innards are pulled. Anyone can fillet- a-fish when the water is only skin to ankle deep. Remember to always use the moist towelette & always out cool the others. Don’t forget your coupons homie!!! Words I live by and cool is all I’ve ever known……. Recipes to to pass on to Geraldo for sure…. Stay Cool !!!!!!!!!!!!
@@CaseyRoman Well, yes, I watched. I meant on the opposite side of the bed. The side where you will not be lying down in a puddle of sweat. It would waft gently over to your side of the bed instead of being aimed at your feet.

You look so rested the day after!!! Your face is very relaxed. I’m happy for you.
I also look like I just rolled out of bed because I totally did 🤣🤣
I m a hot sleeper as well. I have to have a fan on the highest setting blowing across my bed!
Relatable!!!
A well -rested you, is more of you! never ever change. thank you

SANBORN!!! I hope the dairy is still serving the chocolate milk extra creamy!
Put it under the fitted sheet and or needs a remote
Glad you found relief. The noise wouldn't work for me.
Good for you!
I always thought I could write installation instructions better than any I've read!
They’re so useless! Give me pictures and crayons!

I’ll try that! So far after moving it to the side it’s been blissful!
Wild yam cream combine w this machine because I've contiplated running ac in winter beside my bed ...a window unit 🤣
Lava sista here - hubby freezes. Tried getting my own bed....room but Frozen Freddy said no way, so the lava continues to flow. 🥵 Enjoy!
So they have a dual zoned one do one side can be cooled and the other heated. I’ve not tried that one yet

Honestly if it wasn’t so massive this would be the best thing ever for vans
They do (Kind of). I have a Zero Breeze AC in my van, you can put the output hose under your bedding and it works great!
You should have absolutely titled this video:
“I’m So Hot in Bed”
That would have been epic if it actually made it past the UA-cam police 😂😂😂
Oh my. Can you imagine the comment section?
Down booties.... 😂 hope you never change, you are always so entertaining. ❤😊
I’m always so excited when you post. It’s so reassuring that I’m not the only, self-proclaimed, ginger b#%ch, that is opening a graveyard!!!
I’ll come review your graveyard 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chillipad if you don't like the air
That explains a lot of your pain in the un-air-conditioned van way back when 😮
This plus 85 degree interior temps. Unbearable
Well rested on not, you are ❤.
Water bed? They can be cold.
I get too hot too and agree that the cooling pillows are nice. This sounds like an interesting product.
Yeah I dont want the water options. I really like a firm mattress. I just need a personal flurry!

It would be interesting if it had a thermostat 🤔
It does on the app!

😂😂😂😂 i’m dying . there is no way to make this look sexy . 😂😂😂😂 i slept with windows open it got down in the 40 s with 2 fans on me . 😂
I do like it. I just need it to not be the size of an HVAC unit

That's a very interesting comment!😂😂😂
Lol maybe there's a you tube video on how to install
These companies need to start including a QR code to a video. None of us are reading all that mess
Why not put it on the side of the bed where you do not sleep? That way, it won’t be in the way and yet will still point towards your upper body.
Hey there. Did you watch the video? There’s a whole section on why it’s not on the side of the bed

First wear socks so your feet aren’t cold. Secondly you are a psycho lol but that’s what makes you so funny ! Ram of god! Lol
My problem is I'm always cold so I guess we wont get to sleep together .I'm so sorry . Maybe when I grow up but only 68 right now .
It blows hot/warm air too but I definitely didn’t try that one out! Might be night to heat up the sheets and then turn to cool later
