  • Originally purchased in Kettering Ohio, this is the abridged story of ownership and race history of one of the lowest mileage 1969 A12 Plymouth Roadrunners remaining today.

    Was the intake cast or aluminum I got one from edelbrock is ther numbers on it beautiful very nice car especially it’s a early one you it’s awesome that it has won in the stock class

      The original engine on this A12 failed in the early 70s and the intake and carbs were stored in the trunk and eventually sold by Carl's brother, Dan without his permission. Point being, I never had the original intake, but in 1969, they were aluminum and produced by Edlebrock. I used an Edelbrock replacement aluminum intake, which to my understanding is an exact casting of the original.

    Amazing car, great story but disappointing ending with no walk around, no look inside, no starting and no ride.

      Fair enough. My original plan was to do that (walk around and driving) with Carl during his planned visit that never panned out. I have a have a walk around video with interior shots on my channel if you care to take a look. Thanks for watching.
