"It was very valuable to my brother and sentimental to me. It was his computer, printer, fax machine..." She felt sentimental feelings towards office supplies?
Trifling
Lol yep, sentimental to the most expensive items 🤣
. . . 🖥 🖱 🖨 📠
Trifling asf
"sentimental feelings over office supplies"?!! STOP!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
When she said that she stole “items that were very sentimental to me your honor” I was expecting her to say photographs, letters, clothing, etc. when she proceeded to list off speakers, computers, printer and a fax machine… my jaw hit the floor. Her poor brother probably knew how greedy she was and that’s why he left her nothing. And her vile daughter over there in the corner nodding in agreeance was beyond embarrassing. These two don’t know how to read the room. Horrible mother daughter duo. Just nasty
Me too 😂
My thoughts exactly 😮.
And why does she smile like that throughout the whole case?
Something is really wrong with her, She is sick and selfish.
A sentimental computer 😂
Cocaine is a helluva drug
She's lying , she took the money , probably also took his will .
Bet that will gave the defendant more than 5.5k too
Somebody that makes the effort to save a substantial amount of money for someone over the years will 100% have something on paper, a will.
@@kiral9201 absolutely
@@theturtlearchives my thoughts exactly, she knows there is OR was a will. She probably burned it .
Of course she did, they ALL Lie first and go from there.
Can't work with those creatures that long and know what they are made of.
The sister is greedy and had no intention of giving the defendant her money. That’s why she had her husband to count it. Guarantee you they “kept” a few thousand of it.
Agreed, I'm surprised JJ didn't ask he about that. If the money was in the envelope with her name on it, then why did YOU count it. There was literally no reason other than to be nosey.
I disagree and agree. I'm sure the sister kept some of it BUT, the defendant didn't know about the money so the plaintiff technically didn't have to give her any of it. 2) The plaintiff could have lied and said no money was in the safe and the brother lied to the sister. 3) By law, if the deceased didn't have a Will or something in writing that the money belonged to her, the sister could have kept it all. Plus, I absolutely believe the defendant cleaned that house out of all its values. That's low if that's your relative and you feel entitled to something in your head, that's insane if you are of no relation to the deceased.
Now that's entertainment--when black pit against black, Hahahaha.
That smiling… “duping delight” some would even say.
@@janiewolf117 gross comment
That fake perma-grin should be enough show this woman is shady.
Her smile was so cringe 😂
She can’t close her mouth over those false teeth
I also think her, “dumb act” is no act 🫤
@@walkoffaith3770 🤣🤣
She is shady no doubt but some dentures make weird facial statements too. What gets me is these elderly who are still lieing and conniving. Aren't you getting a little old to hang out at clubs and try desperately to sport what you don't (probably never) had??
Its amazing how greedy some people can be. Someone's died and instead of grieving, everyone's started fighting for the money.
Not everyone. It shows you a new side of a person and it’s not pretty. I’ve been surprised a few times by the actions of some family members when death occurs, it’s saddening. You never look at the people the same
That sounds so familiar on what my family has and is going through it’s ridiculous
@@Labbe1989 You see family members turn into vultures when they didn’t get along with the person who passed at all. Hang in there and just realize you will never respect the people who behave like that again.
@@Labbe1989 😢
I saw this happen when my grandparents passed. I saw my mother get terrible and greedy and my father’s sisters were just as bad when it happened with that side. I stayed out of it. I don’t need money, furniture and nick-nacks so badly I would lie and sneak around to do it. And I think my grandparents would be equally disgusted if they knew how some of the family members behaved once they left. Greed is one of the deadly sins for a reason.
"Whether you're playing dumb or thats not an act" 🤣🤣🤣 JJ is savage for that.
Right! I’m gonna have to start saying this 😂
They are ALL dumb but it's who lies better, who is more conniving. Who is packing the most dangerous weapon, who has the most felony warrants, yada, yada.
Women has been stealing for 20 years 1,000$ a month and he didn’t even live with her. So sad
On national television, insane!! Like literally this blonde could send this to the state and she would have to pay a lot of money she doesn't have back to the state
How is she stealing? When someone is disabled and needs a caregiver, the state will pay for either a family member or a hired professional to perform the job. If the Defendant, who lives with him, thought the money should have been reallocated or that the sister wasn’t doing what she was supposed to, a simple phone call would have fixed that. $1k per month? That’s nothing. How is someone supposed to live off of that? Of course she had to work.
@@whosaidthat9265 it’s at walking because she didn’t do shit for him. She stole from the public. No one said anything during his life because it’s just one of those family things where someone is conning an elderly and everyone just let shit lie. She knows good well she should have been giving that money to the actual caregiver.
@MsJustSayin obviously you have no clue how caregiving works. Pray you never have to. That little bit of money is nothing. Who tf can live on $1000 per month? They would have taken into account that she works why it was so little. Her husband helped as well. The amount supports she was being given an amount for partial care, not full time, and that's what she gave. I guess throwing him into a state run home would have been better in your eyes so he could truly be neglected by a state run facility smh
@@whosaidthat9265 I think you're missing the point the defendant is clearly the one taking care of the brother she lives with him why do you think he wanted her to have the money.. While the sister is getting paid for caring for him and complaining that the defendant doesn't work or pay rent..
She said there was 7,000 in the safe, all of the money that was in the safe was hers, and they gave her 5,000. I would’ve heard that and never let it go! You owe me 2,000 ma’am 💁🏽♀️
🤣🤣
They actually gave her 5,500 if you were listening
Exactly, at the end of the first clip. She used it for the funeral, I'm surprised JJ didn't pick up on that too.
That's what I was thinking. She had already said that there was $7000, yest didn't deny when the defendant said that she only gave her $5,510.
@@Wtfe2024 They gave her $5,510. If you're going to be pedantic then at least get it right.

It sucks that death brings out such greed in some people 😥
Sounds like this woman was greedy way before her brothers death
“She took things that were very sentimental to me.”
-a printer
-a fax machine
Don’t forget the Bose speakers!!!! That woman had a shopping list
My step-sister bullied me out of the inheritance my father left me. I was only 17-18 when he passed and was not doing well at that time so I didn't want any drama or issues so I just gave up. I really wish I hadn't given up and fought for what my father wanted me to have. People are just so awful when money is thrown into the equation. All I can say is I'm just grateful I'm not a money hungry wretched creature. Oh well.
You probably aren't african either.
I’m so mad for you
Things didn't work for you when you needed support the most but your dad is still looking out for you and somewhere he will ensure you are looked after.
Sad. Smh.
Am just pissed she collected $1K every month for 20 years when she didn't even look after her brother 😒
Yep and she properly didn’t take good care of him, either.
She said her brother had many episodes with bed sores. That speaks to improper care.
1000 a month times 20 years Is that $240,000
@@darlenesnowden2067I don’t believe a word that comes out of that woman’s mouth
Our govt is full of incompetent workers who allow THEFT!
Also this woman said that there was 7000 in the safe why did the defendant only get 5500? Also this woman said that when the opened the safe and the envelope was in it with her name on it she gave it immediately to her but she just said that her husband counted out the money when they got it out. LIES>...... it was more than 7000 in that safe. Greedy bastard.
also (not quite sure if the amount of rent is mentioned in one of the parts) but she said, the defendant lived "rentfree" for 5,5 years, because her brother saved the rent for her. so it was only 1k a year? 83,34$ a month? I don't believe it. It was probably much more than 7k
Definitely more than 7 k
What Judy is saying the plaintiff made herself liable when she removed the safe and opened with no witnesses
I'm the lady didn't have proof of the amount of money in the safe..
The plaintiff is a thief
That lady can’t stop smiling her only expression.
Why is his sister grinning all of the time. She is creepy
She has too big false teeth in her mouth. She is not “grinning “, she can’t close her mouth.
She's a creepy crook.
It almost looks like she has dentures but I agree. I smile or laugh sometimes when I’m really uncomfortable but not for that long of a period of time.
I'm thinking ill fitting dentures
Nerves
If she admitted to $7K she took some of the money, I guarantee it.
That poor man was getting taken advantage of by everybody around him but mostly by his sister and her family. He is definitely in a much better place now, away from these savage lunatics
I have sentimental attachments to my fax machine and printer too.

She stole part of her money and has nerve to sue this girl about items. She robbed him. Ha You robbed her.

Ahh…the dear sentimental computer, printer, and Bose speakers. I remember holding on to my dear Mammy’s Dell computer.
😂😂😂
$5510 after 5 years is a lie. And the plaintiff admitting to $7000 in the safe means it was a LOT more in there than that.
And the plaintiff said, "the defendant was the only one with the key." Then said that other people, like herself, husband, daughter, nieces, nephews and other people had their own key to her brother's house. What a liar, lied on herself in court.
sentimental value, a fax machine, a printer?
thats what i was thinking LOL those are items she can sell for $
Shows like Judge Judy are good life lessons however they are addictive and I can watch this all day.
I feel there was WAY more than 7000 in the safe...

Edit; Maybe Steve jobs had a sentimental computer.

the sister probably thought that she 'deserved' the money for all the 'hard work' she supposedly did. ya know, besides free rent and being paid from the state and her job. greedy greedy woman
The defendant is absolutely beautiful!!! Even though she didn’t even smile at all.
I watched this case numerous times and this woman makes me sick every time
THATS WHAT IM SAYING! She said && he’s in heaven 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The property was sentimental to her then proceeds to name a bunch of electronics......ok lol
Thieves usually deflect by answering question like the Plantiff - they will see that you have $40, but steal only $30.00 so they can deny stealing it all. “Why wouldn’t I steal of it?” Haha Circular logic 😂😅.
That woman got $20k for nothing. It was the defendant who was living there for 5 years “without a job, rent free” who was ACTUALLY caring for the brother while she was at her DOC job. Omg the HUBRIS!!
I hate badness behind a nice smile.Well done JJ

That cracked me up!! This woman is an idiot and is too oblivious to know she’s an idiot and Judge Judy is reading her ass.
This is so my family. My two sisters couldn’t wait to ransack the house, not twenty minutes after my dad passed, they were in his drawers. They stole everything.🤯
Woo-eee, Dorris (with two "R's" cuz one's not enough) has that killer smile down pat as she plunges the proverbial knife in your back. LMAO.
How is it the sister looked after the brother, but somehow he had a computer and accessories that were "sentimental". If they were so "sentimental" why didn't the brother these items with him? It sounds like the sister wanted anything and everything that may have been of value. Most sentimental items are trinkets, pictures, letters not electronics.
‘It’s very sentimental to me’.. proceeds to name all electronics lol
If the sister openly admitted that there was $7K, why couldn’t she get the $2K that was owed.
Defendant has beautiful eyes. Lovely lady.
That sister's FULL OF PRUNES!😂
The defendant is STUNNING!!!
This reminded me when me and my older brother had to collect our aunts things from the nursing home. The nurses were talking so nice about her... Then his gf yells out... "I didn't, she was a B..." Im visibly annoyed at her while packing my aunts stuff. And working on the safe. The nursing home didn't know the code. So i had to bypass the code. Found jewlery... Which my bros gf got excited, But i knew my aunt wore fake jewelry. Lol but then i ran into just 18 bucks in cash. I let my brother claim it. I didnt want much except a cheap necklace. But he split it between me and his gf, which i knew my aunt disliked her. I refused at first but he almost gave it all to her. So i accepted only to end up giving to a homeless man.
They owe her more money!!!!

Its clear to me that the old lady felt like she was owed that money for caring for him all those years! She clearly took the rest of what she thought she was owed and thats it! His office supplies were not "valuables"! Lol!
JJ should have called the plaintiff out when she got told to put her hand down and she SLAMMED it on the desk near the end of the video
There was probably more than $7000.00 in the safe.

Did she really say a computer printer had sentimental value?
How is a Bose Speaker sentimental to you? This lady is sick.
Whether is be friend or family isn’t it sad, that when there is any money or property is involved, fights begin? Would the deceased person want to see their loved ones fighting over it?
