In my perspective, Ipoh is a good place to stay or retire. On the other hand, job opportunities are lower compared to other states. However, new houses near the center are getting expensive unless you consider suburban areas. Therefore, it could be a good idea to invest in one before prices appreciate.
recently thinking back to ipoh and want to buy a house for own stay. then found out old house near city is almost expensive like the new one. the new house in rural area is leasehold and expensive. then I check with melaka. melaka is slightly a bit cheaper and freehold. ipoh is overrated. ipoh house price放弃我这个ipoh girl.
@@kremerconnie9273Extremely overrated. There are so few jobs but houses are very expensive. Melaka which has a far better economy is actually cheaper than Ipoh.
I live nearby this Klemeru area. The traffic jam during the morning rush hour traffic is already quite bad. And there are several more housing developments coming up nearby, so the traffic jam is going to get worse in the future. I hope the surrounding developers push Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) to do something about it, just like how Sunway and MBI managed to solve the traffic congestion problem in Tambun. Us residents have tried voicing this problem to MBI, our ADUN already mentioned this problem during the DUN assembly, but MBI still haven't listened to us.
Thanks for sharing. That's why I think this new road extension is a plus point for developments. When developments take place, the authorities can instruct developers to make good the traffic congestions.
noticed something a bit off. that the house that iherng visited, double storey and the single storey cluster, both houses mostly finished in tiles. But, there is no skirting tile. hmm, a big no no as after mopping the floor, and that end part of the wall will turn dark soon because of dirty mark.
skirting tile is so old school mentality. want skirting? lizard poo love to land on there. mopping floor causing dirty dark mark? either u use better paint resistant or use robot to clean/mop together. with the additional skirting away from the wall, most of your furniture/cabinet can't able to sit flush/flat to the wall, unless u fully customise cabinet etc, but since u could afford customise cabinet, might as well get robot to clean and mop?
@iherng Hi Sean, been following your property review channel for quite sometime. Gained a lot each time watching your reviews or knowledge sharing shorts. Appreciate if you can make a review for an old but talk of the town high rise development at Ipoh area that many said been overrated all these while but surprisingly they managed to JV with world famous TUI BLUE which is one of the world's leading tourism groups that operates worldwide. TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
Huh? The development is literally surrounded by mountains and forest woh… Well also the roads are incomplete yet, so maybe there will be landscape treatments. Let’s see lah!!
Ok I am going to be a bit harsh. This is a land grab by developers. For such a small house the price is unreasonable. Even the quality of the house is meh. Plus this is in Ipoh. I was born and raised in Ipoh. I would love it if I could work in Ipoh and contribute back to the city I was raised. I applied for tons of jobs for years but I never get the opportunity for even 1 interview. I can only get interviews in KL or sometimes Penang after I graduated. To think that such a place with limited economic potential can be an unaffordable place to live is ridiculous. Not to mention the location of this house is really in the middle of nowhere. No nearby shop lots, so people have to drive to go the nearest restaurants or convenience store. And then it's far away from any offices, far away from the city center + its small size and mediocre quality. This house is very over price. I noticed Ipoh recently has become more and more unaffordable. It is no longer affordable and the high housing cost in the city do not reflect people's income.
@@iherng he is referring to the black TNB cable above the main door entrance at every house. That one cannot be avoided. Unless developer pay extra money for underground cabling
Leasehold! Such a waste! I really don't understand the concept of leasehold when there are so much empty space around. What is the government going to do when the lease expires? Take back the land and do what? Build more houses! 😂 Can _never_ be converted back to the original land use. E.g., Bandar Utama or Sri Petaling.
How can you run 6kV electrics into a house? We only have 0,22kV in our sockets. Or you meant kilo Watts? Those definitions in SI-units should be mandatory reading across the globe. 6kW does not last long for an EV. What does a fast charger push? I see little eco when the whole society is car, car, long distance, short distance car. Pretty much like in europe. Taxes for eco but more long transports, more cars, more people using more energy per capita, record number of flights. The schizophrenia continent of EU-rope.

Yea. So it highly depends on the stage of life we are in. Thanks for watching:)

Quite Ulu...security here at night could be challenging.
It’s gated and fenced up so I think it’s not too bad:)

state goverment also want to earn some money. After 99 years, you need to pay some fee to extend the lease.

It's actually 6kwp solar panel. Not 6kv. Technical term maybe a bit confusing to normal people.
