4:03 Even though it changed so much compared to VI-IX it's still one of my favourites also.

I like how you mentioned some games that nobody has mentioned to me. Good list!

The game that has stuck with me throughout my life is a game from the PS2: Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. It’s a battle racer that immerses you in the underground racing subculture allowing you to take on various gang, their leaders, and “wanderers”.
It’s an incredibly stressful but zen experience as you race through the Japanese highways at night with almost ambient like music throughout.

A game that ive loved since it came out is Omori, I know you've probably heard of it before but i cannot talk enough about this game nor will anyhing i say give it the justice it needs. However, if you've not played it I'll give a short description.
Omori is an 8-bit RPG Psychological horror game made my Omocat in 2020 (although the idea of it has been around since 2011 in the form of a webcomic) In omori you can explore different worlds with a small group of fun characters and battle foes, in battle they utilise the use of emotions which I think is really cool. Overall, Omori is a story about coming to terms with your past, reconnecting with old friends, and the ways in which grief can affect people. Personally, Omori is really important to me and captured how people's different perspectives and emotions can affect them as people in ways that not many games I've seen have been able to. So, if by chance you've not played it or even heard of it before then I recommend it ♡ :)
I will warn though, that it is a pretty long game and can take a while to pick up, personally I found the gameplay super fun But I know that's not how everyone sees it so just a fair warning for that but I think in the end it's definitely worth it. ♡
Also, i love this list and your content ♡

I’ve thought about playing Omori for a while, I’ve only ever heard good things about it.

@BTbenTR I definitely think you should, I know it sounds dramatic but it's the only game that I think genuinely changed my life

interesting list but completely not my type i don't like indie and japanese games i prefer games like doom, halo, gta, wolfenstein you get the idea the only game that i played
was sekiro and it will probably stay that way (i'm not saying that the games in this video are bad i can't i never played them just not my type)

this is a good list. You mentioned (good) games you actually played instead of the sheep that mention overrated crap like cyberpunk, rdr2 and gta. Only things I would add are ghost of tsushima, hades and sleeping dogs. Slay the spire also pretty good. DIshonoured as well. And all the deus ex franchise
