The most boring sections I've ever played in any video games 😌I am truly lucky to have borrowed the game from a close friend, because i would have been truly irritated and angry if I spent all that money for a decent game...definitely NOT goty , a 6 to me , from 0 to 10, clearly a 6.....many parts were soooo boring , unnecessary , annoying , silly and both atreus and freiya are so irritating when doing puzzles or exploring, and most importantly if i am to buy a God of war game it must only have Kratos as playable character or at least not some boring annoying one like atreus or at least make his sections last way less or give us the possibility to cut it in ng+, and even those jokes about Kratos not being able to jump if the platform is not so perfectly put.......cringyyy pathetic "funny " choose of jokes....it's developers did not care about the ones who played and fell in love with the previous greek series games 😢

I think double exposure is truly about safi not max like we see max takes a side step to the story although it feels as if alot of stuff was cut the game must been rushed like i enjoyed it i fell in love with amanda's character with her being so wholesum but they left on a cliff hanger showing chloe may come back like my fellow fans WE GOTTA VOICE WHAT WE WANT MAKE THEM GIVE US A STORY WHERE WE SEE MORE OF MAXES LIFE SEE CHLOE AND HER TRUCK AGAIN AND JUST HAVE THE GAME BE AWESOME LIKE THE FIRST TWO GAMES!!!! Truly we may need to wait longer but it would be cool as hell if they gave us something as long as life is strange 2 also they really gotta give us the classic music again like max wouldnt just stop listening to stuff like sparklehorse or alt J and what about the whole rachel was the storm idea they hinted at in the first game:( AND WHATS WITH LORETTA LOOKING LIKE RACHEL!!!! LIS 1/2 (they're both so good, and 2 is the ONLY game in the series where your decisions actually matter in determining the ending you get. the old studio really killed it when it came to these 2 games I honestly can't decide) 2. LIS 1/2 3. before the storm 4.True colors 5. double exposure. (I have a lot of complaints for this, you already explained some of them, istg the newer life is strange games just don't hit the same as the previous ones.)

I completely agree with you! I played it through and was confused the entire time bc I was focusing on plot points that just- never get brought up again

I thought it would have been cool if they really went through with the murder mystery and you would be able to not only get justice for Safi, but also Maya along the way. The timeline power could have been something that started to drain Max' strength, so she would only hold onto the other timeline until she had all the answers she needed. It could have been a story about Max needing to let go of the other timeline eventually to not destroy herself. And her realizing that although her powers aren't able to undo any damage, this time she was able to use them in a way that helped people heal, by bringing justice to both Safi and Maya.

Yeah first 3 or 4 were super nice. I knew for a fact chapter 5 would make no sense and I chose to play through it without changing my opinion on the rest of the game.

Wtf you mean? Of course Safi is a different person in the last two chapters. A happy person surrounded by people who care about them is very different from a person who realizes shes been betrayed by almost everyone and can trust no one. Survival mode is a thing. She (in alive world) is acting how she needs to to understand and get revenge to hopefully feel better. She hit her villain arch. And no, she didn’t learn the lesson from Max’s life. She has to go learn that herself. The game has flaws but so many “character flaws or inconsistencies” are just character development that sometimes happen off screen. But Safi’s was so overly described I didn’t think anyone could not understand.

Hot take: Vihn is a better romancable character than Warren.

I have no idea how you felt this way especially about Gwen. I felt like she gave nothing but non answers no matter how small the question was. And she’d be angry at you and stay angry for the smallest thing. I hate that I hate her so much. Even to the extent she said (online) students struggling with mental health could come to her to talk and I’m like ‘you’re so gay, you cant give a straight answer to anything. You cant communicate with anyone about anything. How would you help anyone??’ (As a trans gay, I wanted to like her but hated every sentence that came out of her mouth)

In my mind, they only made one exceptional game (Life is Strange 1) and never got anywhere near that again. The second game had its moments, but I also didn't enjoy it that much tbh. I'm kinda glad that they didn't bring Chloe back, because they may have ruined her character somehow.

At the beginning of the game I very much thought that the game would make you choose between the worlds and that max would slowly lose access to the other world. And then the safi twist came and I thought maybe safi in this timeline accidentally kills the safi in the other timeline and the final choice is about if we stop her or not. And trough out the chapters in the living world we see what safi could become if she stayed alive, and how dangerous that is. Not in a million years did I expect literally anything that happened in these last 2 chapters.

The last 2 chapters felt like fanfiction

I completely agree with everything you said. I thought the ending was very unsatisfying and I felt like it wasn't even worth playing. When i played the first game after the ending of that i just sat back in my chair and i was like Wow, that was amazing. Such an amazing story and characters. At the end of Double Exposure i was like. Ok Thats it?. This ending sucks
