I have a MY23 C40 twin and I have never loved a car more! When you said "makes me smile" that's exactly what I do every time I see my car. The new updates sound amazing but I don't know if I could ever let go of mine! 😍

In an earlier video you said that your Volvo does not make your pulse rise or something similar. I do not know how this (it is the same car) can be so different?
Definitely. It's exactly the same car. Sort of.. Same but different. Maybe I'm just tired of the more conservative XC40 looks, and more drawn towards the sporty exterior on the EC40.. I'm Mesmerised by the exterior design 🤣🤣 But your absolutely correct. It's basically the same
I just have the 2024 model, and I do pull a caravan with it, range is 160km… so any update interestingly for me would be range upgrade to at least 500 km with caravan.
Anything else can not interest me anymore… I need to say this is really something I do hate with the XC40.
Also the google navigation is really shit, never thought it could be so horrible but who ever did think it was a good idea to change the navigation from Volvo to google had something wrong.
Please write more about your experience. I'm interested in the C40 and love to hear real world experience.

Is it possible to turn off auto steering, auto driving assistance and all related warnings PERMANENTLY with these cars? It’s a dealbreaker for me and my girlfriend.
We’ve excluded XC40 since we watched your video, but the C40 could be an alternative if the above is true.
No, that's not possible.
But recommend to try one. It's not so annoying as in many other cars
@@volvo_kristian I'm about to try a C40 in an hour. But I will ask the sales rep the same thing. We really don't like "self driving" features. I'm going to look at pulling fuses for such things maybe and / or patching the software by myself.

@@bjrnchrstn Actually, we're able to turn off enough self driving features with the C40 that we don't have to pull fuses.

I've followed you primarily for your EX30 videos. However, I'm particularly happy to see this video today. Since we have no idea if the USA will ever see the EX30... I will be test-driving a Polestar 2 this afternoon. A brother to that very car... This isn't a direction I thought I could afford to take... but given Polestar's generous deals/incentives I think if I like it. I just might pull the trigger.
Glad to hear. Honestly your not going wrong there.. The Polestar 2 are a wonderful car. More sports oriented then Volvo's EC/EX40. Yes it's slightly more cramped but you gain much in terms of driving dynamics. If you can make a good deal then that sounds like a easy choice.

We've been going back and forth on the Value of my 2022 Bolt EUV, but I think we came to terms just now... Again, this video could not have come at a more perfect time for me. In 27 months, I might trade the P2 for a more SW-complete EX30! BTW I had never even seen a P2 Live... It is one gorgeous EV! Love at first sight! Again thank you for you guidance!!

@volvo_kristian We have new MY24 Polestar 2s here, Ours is White/Slate AWD Plus Drive Assist 19" it will be here in early July. So far, the online order deposit has been great, the salesman is wonderful. We will finish up some details when the car arrives but today was all about getting a car selected, a deal hamered out and a deposit issued. It's on!
Been looking for a v60 t6 recharge 2022 but i have a question. do all 2022 have the updated 18.8kwh or only the late 2022?
If not all have the 18.8kwh, are there a easy way to check it ?

Hello. It's only late production of Volvo's MY22. So production after week 49 in 2021. Easiest way are to check performance figures. It's either 340 hp for early and it's 350hk on the late production with extended battery. Note that sometimes dealership writes wrong

Just to let you know though; I have a late MY24 C40 (delivered April just gone), running AAOS 3.0.3, and have both the adaptive pedal response option and the choice between "vibration" and "steering and vibration" in my options.
I've had both of these options since delivery, so the late 2.x software versions. Might be initially specific to the new motor/drivetrain cars, as the MY24 and MY35 share the same setup? Or might just be software. Anyone with a C40 MY22/23 already have these options too?
Is the performance package included in all new EC40 models, or is it sold separately like in the other C40 models?

What is the frequency suspension?
@bernardrr It's something they added for the MY25 Electric versions. It's like active suspension, but you as a driver don't have any influence on the settings. It "decides" for it self. On normal even roads the suspension gets slightly stiffer with less body motion for more comfort, and if your driving like over uneven surfaces with quick imperfections like cobblestones then the suspension gets slightly softer. It reacts to the surface, and adjust accordingly. Hope that was a good explanation 👍

@mdshovel Probably just tired of my XC40. The C40/EC40 looks much more modern on the exterior. I'm suddenly very drawn to it. Hard to explain. Maybe it's just the looks.. Like Roxette sings. She's got the looks 😎
