Track mode V2 finally allows us to do all this and more from the track mode menu! It's what we should have had from the beginning IMO. The only thing I want now is a drag mode that gives us a temporary power boost like a ludicrous mode that can just rip the 1/4 mile even harder.

@@i1Tesla I just tested, you don't actually have to be in Park, and you don't have to hold the lever after the screen pops up.
There have been big problems with gangs doing that on public streets in the Bay Area please never promote that, lives have been lost.

Haha loves the video man. I live in the city so going to “Mexico” would be a pretty far drive for a short test. Nice job with the wrap too! I did mine in satin black and it was so cheap and easy ($560 for material myself vs quotes for $3k). Also saved the paint from someone backing up into me. Totally worth wrapping your car if you like it and it’s easy too.

Well dragtimes did it in more simple way: hold T, enter dynotest, turn left signal on (no holding), press OK.
I had to hold mine. I tried it both ways.

Might I suggest a place to try this, if you happen to be nearby and so long as it's dry, is the Great Salt Flats in Utah. Look for signs for the Bonneville Speedway. Wide, wide-open perfectly flat spaces. The Great Salt Flats for Great Doughnuts! I left tracks!
It's so weird to see a burnout without the accompanying sound of an engine roar.
When I did it the only way I found to shut off Dyno mode was to follow the steps to turn it on. Spent forever trying to exit Dyno mode.
I wonder what the top speed in reverse is when you put it in dyno mode

I’d imagine turning it off would put it back to normal. The dyno mode is gonna limit torque output down low because no dynamometer can handle that kind of torque. Makes perfect sense to me.
As far as the Mexico thing, smh. I go to my privately owned property that’s mocked up to look like the local area lol, since all 4 Mexican states touching Texas actually are more severe on traffic infractions towards American drivers. F that nonsense...
You are incorrect, Dyno mode gives full power to be used for dyno testing and there are many Dynos that can handle 1000hp ++++.
Probably best not to talk about topics when all you are doing is guessing.
“Dyno Mode” feature is required to be enabled to maintain representative driving controls while testing on a chassis dynamometer.
In order to preserve the proper driving functionality and behavior, Dyno Mode executes the following features:
‐ Disable Stability Control to ensure no false interaction with the dyno.
‐ Disable Traction Control to ensure no false interaction with the dyno.
‐ Disable Active Drive Line Damping to avoid inducing oscillations in the dyno.
‐ Force the torque split to be as it would be under normal straight‐line driving conditions
‐ Disable Brake Disk Wipe

no if you put dynotest without holding brake and the blinker it will disable the regen brake
Powering off and opening the door cancels the power down. You have to stay in the car to actually power down.
I found out after filming that you don't even need to power down the car. You just need to put it in park and get out

Cool, the only other way of accomplishing this that I've heard about is to use an app called teslatrac3 but I think it's no longer on the play store and requires you to tap into one of the canbus

Wilmington, NC here with a 2020 Model 3SR+ and the dyno mode had been nerfed.. It's limp mode with the nannies disabled. Bummer..

There is no need to power off the car you can just put it in park and exit from the car and then enter again and pres the brake pedal.

the rear left of the interior is very dirty? what happen there buddy? u know that u can wash that out quite easy with a vaccumcleaner and some foam detergent, get that nasty dark stuff out of there. i wish tesla had put black roof and pillar liner on. like volkswagen does with almost all their cars.

All of the safety features and regen/hold spontaneously turned off. Does anyone know how to reactivate everything? I’ve tried to reboot my car and walk away for awhile but cannot get things turned on.

@@gigo14789 It's a good way to fuck up your tires which are expensive in themselves. And yes, not everyone is good at doing stuff like this and do end up crashing. Which is why Telsa had to put out a statement telling people not to do this.
